On November 2, Li Mingyong, director of the Forestry and Grassland Bureau of Qujing City, led a research team to Puli Township to investigate industrial development and rural revitalization.

The research team went to the Gott Ecological Tea Garden to check the development of the ancient tree tea industry, to the channel project construction base and the thornless pepper seedling base to check the project construction, and to learn more about the scale of industrial development, infrastructure construction, grass-roots party building, and rural civilization.
The research group demanded that it is necessary to make good use of local tourism resources, focus on the development of the tea industry, walk out of a road of integrated development of agricultural tourism and tourism integration of sightseeing agriculture and tea tourism, enhance the added value of tea, and inject new impetus into rural revitalization; we must do a good job in the development plan of the thornless pepper industry, strive to cultivate high-quality thornless peppercorns through improvement, breeding, grafting and other technologies, accelerate the construction of thornless peppercorn seedling bases, and build an industrial demonstration garden with points and areas to inject greater vitality and motivation into the masses to increase their income and get rich; the personnel stationed in the villages should sink to the front line. Overall planning and coordination, guidance throughout the process, exploring the mode of economic development, developing and expanding the collective economy, increasing the disposable income of peasant households, helping the two village committees to rationalize their ideas, grasp development, and do practical things; it is necessary to grasp the development opportunities, focus on the people's livelihood projects, infrastructure construction, industrial development and other work, actively strive for projects and financial support, rely on resource advantages, adapt measures to local conditions, plan a number of projects to help farmers increase income, and constantly create a new situation in the revitalization of Puli rural areas.
