What's so special about them!
According to public information, the J-16D is an electronic fighter modified on the basis of the J-16. Compared to the prototype J-16, the J-16D removed the infrared search tracking sensor and the 30 mm cannon to accommodate more electronics. In addition, there are several antennas around the fuselage. The J-16D has two huge electronic intelligence pods at the wingtips, similar to the devices on the U.S. E/A-18 Growler electronic attack aircraft.
The K-10 aircraft made its debut on October 1, 2019, at a military parade celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. This air show is its "debut" of flight at the China Airshow.
Public information shows that the Jiao-10 is a new generation of advanced trainer aircraft independently developed by China, and the aircraft is of great significance for improving the technical and tactical capabilities of pilots, narrowing the generation gap between aviation schools and troops, and improving the quality and efficiency of training flight combat personnel. As soon as the Jiao-10 came out, pilots gave it the nickname "Little J-10".
