Provide guidance and services for parent-child co-reading
The Meihuishu Picture Book Museum for the public transforms the excellent picture book reading schemes and methods that have been verified in practice in the field of education, and provides guidance and services for parent-child reading.
Advocate "book as the medium, high-quality parent-child companionship", help children establish good early reading habits, through story meetings, in-depth reading extension activities, parent lecture salons and other activities, establish a "Meihui Tree" reading promotion mechanism, influence families to fall in love with parent-child reading, and become a trustworthy reading consultant around them.
The museum covers an area of more than 120 square meters, and the decoration design is integrated into the Liva River of the Putuo Campus of East China Normal University and the Cherry River of the Minhang Campus, bringing the architectural image of Siquntang and Qunxiantang into the space, providing children with a familiar, warm and humanistic atmosphere of the university.

The library has a collection of nearly 5,000 books, divided into five categories such as "health, language, society, science and art" according to the "Guiding Outline of Kindergarten Education", adding "English original" and "children's literature" categories, and opening up a special area for "reading in the library", selecting high-quality pop-up books and encyclopedia books at home and abroad, etc., to provide a variety of reading experiences and lending services for children aged 3-10.

In 2012, relying on the strong professional strength of the Department of Preschool Education of East China Normal University, the publishing house planned and published the "Meihuishu" early childhood education resource library project based on original picture books with Chinese characteristics, gathering excellent professional resources in the field of children's literature, illustration and early childhood education in China, with the original 96 picture books as the initial content, and successively edited and published the "Meihuishu Kindergarten Theme Curriculum Resources", "Meihuishu Original Picture Book Selection", "Meihuishu English Version Wonderful Minds". Launched the "Meihui Tree Classroom" digital platform for preschool teachers.
