Shijiazhuang, November 2 (Xinhua) -- The reporter learned from the Shijiazhuang Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention that shijiazhuang has made important progress in the investigation and traceability of the epidemic in this round, and after analysis and demonstration by the expert group, the basic judgment of the virus that triggered the current round of epidemic in Shijiazhuang City was introduced by Guo Mou, a confirmed case announced on November 1.

From September 26 to October 12 this year, Guo worked in the Swan Lake Project Department of Ejin Banner in Inner Mongolia. The infection rate among the site personnel is extremely high. After the Hebei Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention sequenced and compared Guo's viral genes, Guo's infection with the virus was highly homologous to the epidemic strain in northwest China, which belonged to the early infection case.

Through verification, Guo Mou lived alone in Wenhe Community in Yuhua District from October 13 to 17 days after returning to Shijiazhuang City, and has not returned to his sister's home on the evening of the 18th. Nucleic acid tests were taken from the beds, bathroom sinks, toilet walls, sneakers, clothing, and other items in his residence, and the results were positive, proving that he had been carrying the virus before October 18.

On October 22, after Guo mou saw the announcement from the owner group of Wenhe Community about the need to report the history of travel history in medium- and high-risk areas, he took the initiative to call the community neighborhood committee to report that he had a travel history in Ejina Banner, Inner Mongolia. At about 18:00, it was transferred by 120 negative pressure ambulance to the centralized isolation point.

Based on the current data analysis such as disease control and flow adjustment, guo mou returned to Shijiazhuang city on October 13 and went to Shenze County on October 17 to have close contact with Wang, Sun and Wu.

After Guo returned to Wenhe Community on October 17, he took the same elevator with Li Mou of Yuhua District (a confirmed case announced on October 23) for 4 minutes, and did not wear a mask, with a high probability of spreading the virus in a small and closed space.

After the Hebei Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention sequenced and compared the viral genes of Li X in Yuhua District, Wu X in Shenze County, and his son Wang X, all three people were infected with the same virus, and all of them were offspring of the virus carried by Guo. While Wu was living at home, he spread the virus to his husband, son and daughter. While working at the kindergarten in Hezhuang Village, Shenze County, Sun X transmitted the virus to his student Zhang X. During his work, Li mou in Yuhua District transmitted the virus to his colleague Yin Moumou.
