1. The male sheep of the black-headed Dubo sheep have no horns, short and thick neck, wide shoulders, long and round body, well-developed posterior body, short and thick limbs, upright limbs, full body muscles, strong physique, adapt to hot, dry, humid, cold and other climates. It also has the characteristics of early maturity, strong fecundity, lactation, rapid growth and development of lambs, good carcass quality, lean meat, less fat, high slaughter rate, and strong adaptability.

2. Dubo sheep grow fast, weighing 36 kg in lambs aged 3.5-4 months. Adult rams generally weigh 130-150 kg and adult ewes weigh 90-120 kg.

3. The black-headed Dubo sheep is divided into two strains: long-haired and short-haired. Long-haired sheep produce carpet wool, which is more adapted to cold climatic conditions; short-haired sheep have shorter coats and can better resist heat and rain.
