There are more than 36,000 kinds of plants growing in China, and there are more than 1,200 kinds of plants in 119 families that are identified as weeds. 1. Barnyard grass
Barnyard grass is an annual herb that is also known as barnyard because of its very similar appearance to that of rice seeds. This weed is a vicious weed in rice paddies and prefers to grow in rice paddies, swamps, ditches or low-lying wastelands.

Dogtail grass is an annual herb. The stems are erect, generally 10–100 cm tall and up to 3–7 mm in diameter at the base. Matang is an annual herbaceous plant of the family Matangaceae. The plant can reach a height of up to 80 cm and has no glabrous or knotweed hairs on the stems. The leaf sheath is shorter than the internodes, and the leaves are linear lanceolate, rounded at the base, with thicker edges and slightly rougher edges.
