People's Daily Tokyo, November 2 According to the "Asahi Shimbun" report, at about 6 o'clock in the morning of the 2nd, a road section in Kichichiji Honmachi, Musashino City, Tokyo, Japan, collapsed, and a garbage collection truck driven by a male driver fell into a large pit, so he had to call the police for help.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Musashino Police Station, the collapsed pavement is located on the north side of the Kichijoji store of Tokyu Department Store. A large crater about 2 meters wide, 10 meters long and 4-5 meters deep appeared on the asphalt pavement, and by 7:30 a.m. the collapsed pavement had increased to nearly 20 meters long. There have been no injuries.

It is reported that the location of the incident is located in a commercial street 270 meters northwest of JR Kichijoji Station, and there are restaurants and clothing stores in the block. Pedestrians passing by to work saw the big pit of the road collapsing, and they all made the sound of "Wow, the ground is sunken" and "how dangerous", and then held up their mobile phones to take pictures. Affected by this, the road section was temporarily closed, and many vehicles had to take a detour.

The owner of a yakitori shop not far from the scene said that the vehicle could pass normally the night before without any abnormality. However, he also said with fear: "I have to go on this road every day, and if I fall into it, it will be terrible." (Editor: Xu Wenjin Reviewer: Chen Jianjun)
