Sun Feihu, Altay Detachment of Xinjiang Forest Fire Brigade: Cultivating "one specialty, multiple abilities" talents

As the political instructor of the emergency communication and vehicle service squadron of the Altay Detachment of the Xinjiang Forest Fire Brigade, Sun Feihu, since the reform and transformation, I have always taken general secretary Xi Jinping's important precepts as the guide, actively adapted to the new identity, cultivated a new team, and continuously improved myself and the emergency rescue skills of the whole team in various tasks.

From "olive green" to "flame blue", what has changed is the color of the uniform, what has not changed is the original mission of serving the people; what has changed is the identity, and what has not changed is the responsibility. On April 7, 2019, during the vacation in Hancheng, Shaanxi, I learned the news that the Gansu Forest Fire Brigade had gone to The Town of Mulberry Ping in Hancheng City to extinguish the fire, and I immediately requested to join the war, rushed to the fire site, and practiced the spirit of the precepts with practical actions.

As a forest fire brigade stationed in the northwest of the motherland, we guard the Altay region, one of the six major forest areas in the country. As a grassroots officer, I feel a heavy responsibility, and I know that only by innovating work methods and actively adapting to the new system and new mechanisms can we achieve the goals of "transformation and upgrading, improving quality and strong energy" and "all disasters and major emergencies". To this end, we have deeply analyzed the actual work of the squadron, faced with practical problems such as many posts and few personnel, and scientifically formulated a "one-specialty, multi-functional" talent training plan. Through the training in the past three years, every comrade of the whole squadron can be qualified for 3 posts, laying the foundation for the successful completion of various rescue tasks.

As a fire rescue worker in the new era, I feel great honor and pride. In the future, I will continue to practice the spirit of the precepts with practical actions, make continuous progress in thinking concepts, management mechanisms, ability and quality, and guarantee system, take over the baton handed to us by history, fully shoulder the sacred duties of the main force of emergency rescue and the national team, complete the tasks entrusted by the party and the people with excellent rescue skills, and always be the loyal guardian of the party and the people.
