Origins
Until the middle of the 20th century, Yunnan was still in different stages of social development, such as the primitive commune system, slavery, feudal lordship system, and feudal landlord system, and the people of all nationalities struggled for a long time in the abyss of pain.
In August 1926, the Guangdong District of the Communist Party of China sent Li Xin, a member of the Dian Communist Party, back to Yunnan to work, with the aim of establishing a Communist Party organization and carrying out the workers' and peasants' movement. After Li Xin returned to Yunnan, he quickly developed Wu Cheng, Yan Yingwu, Yang Jingshan and others to join the Communist Party of China.
November 7, 1926, marked the 9th anniversary of the October Socialist Revolution in Russia. On this commemorative day, Li Xin, Wu Cheng, Zhou Xiao, and Yang Jingshan held the first meeting of party members at their home in Zhou Xiao, Jiexiao Lane, Pingzheng Street, Kunming City, and the Yunnan Special Branch of the Communist Party of China was established.

Li Xin, a native of Longling, Yunnan, was the founder of the Yunnan Party organization of the Communist Party of China, one of the early leaders, and a revolutionary martyr.

In 1925, Li Xin, together with Wang Desan, Wang Fusheng and others, initiated the organization of the Yunnan Reform Society (later renamed "New Dian Society"), a progressive organization for students in Beijing, to carry out Marxist-Leninist research and establish progressive journals. On November 7 of the same year, Li Xin presided over the first meeting of party members of the Communist Party of China in Yunnan in Jiexiao Lane, Pingzheng Street, Kunming, and formally established the Yunnan Special Branch of the Communist Party of China, igniting the spark of the cause of communism in Yunnan.

In April 1929, in order to fight for a number of legitimate rights and interests for the workers, Li Xin organized and launched many strike struggles, but due to the leakage of secrets, Li Xin and others were unfortunately arrested, and in May of the same year, they died outside the stone wall in Mengzi, Yunnan, at the age of 32.

"In the past, such as dying yesterday, everything in the future is like being born today; in the past, we ate wine and tobacco, and in the future we will become a new person and hand over our lives to the party." This was Li Xin's oath to join the party, and in his short life, he was wanted by the reactionary authorities many times and was arrested and imprisoned twice. In prison, he withstood the test of the enemy's soft and hard measures, deception and inducement, and severe torture, and showed the lofty qualities and strong will of a communist.
Aischi, whose original name was Li Shengxuan, was a famous Marxist philosopher, educator and revolutionary in China, and was affectionately known as the "philosopher of the people". As a teenager, he joined a party-led peripheral organization and twice traveled east to Japan to study. After the "9.18" incident in 1931, the 21-year-old Aischi returned to Kunming out of patriotic indignation and formally joined the Communist Party of China in 1935.
Aischi's philosophical academic career and revolutionary career are closely linked, and he devoted his life to the study and propaganda of philosophy, and he always insisted on popularizing rationalist philosophy and making philosophy a sharp weapon in the hands of the masses in his philosophical theoretical work. He wrote many popular philosophical works, especially "Popular Philosophy" and "Philosophy and Life", which guided countless young people to embark on the revolutionary road.

On the front line of poverty alleviation, he forgot his work, and on the 105th day of his work in Choza Village, he visited 735 peasant households in the village, and successively independently or participated in the completion of dozens of poverty alleviation-related work such as the coordination of the "Langya Education Poverty Alleviation Fund" in Biza Village, the application for entrepreneurial loans for breeding and entrepreneurship leaders, the improvement of housing shortcomings and human settlements, and the evaluation of low-income households in rural areas, which were affectionately called "Ayi Climbing" (meaning good big brother, good brother) by the Lisu people.
