"The total length of the bridge is 354.8 meters, with 4 lanes in both directions and a design speed of 60 kilometers per hour." Integrate into Yichang half-hour economic circle
National Highway 318 Changyang is rocky, obliquely connecting a two-way 4-lane first-class highway, extending to the north, and driving a short time to the Jigongyan Tunnel. The tall Jigong Rock is the boundary mountain between dianjun and Changyang, and through the tunnel is the dianjun.
This is the Yichang to Changyang Expressway, starting from the intersection of Jiangnan 2nd Road and South Station Road of the Dianjun Military Region, entering the tunnel in Jigongyan in Quanshui Village, Liantang Township, exiting the tunnel in Meizi Bay, Changyang Jinbin Village, crossing the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway under the partial rock, crossing Danshui, and ending at Tujiayuan Square in Changyang Longzhouping Town. Inside the Jigongyan Tunnel, the cable and lighting systems have been installed, and construction workers are welding ventilation equipment brackets. Kang Weibin introduced that the tunnel only has one last installation task left, and only needs to be connected to the external power supply, which has the conditions for opening to traffic.
The Jigongyan Tunnel is a key control project of the Yichang Expressway, with a total length of 2.55 kilometers, and the double tunnel was completed at the end of 2019. Kang Weibin introduced that the rock formation here is broken and belongs to a high-risk level tunnel. In the previous construction, in accordance with the principle of "first detection, pipe advance, short advance, weak disturbance, strong support, fast closure, and diligent measurement", various effective measures were taken to overcome construction problems such as poor geographical conditions, large changes in the surrounding rock of the tunnel, and difficulties in material transportation, and achieved the goal of penetrating earlier than the original planned time.

According to reports, the Yichang Expressway will connect the Longwu First-class Highway under construction and become a new section of G241.
