In the "Come and Blow Up" special event, Apple announced that the HomePod mini has added three new colors of blue, yellow and orange, plus the previous white and space gray versions with a total of five colors to choose from. The three new colors of the HomePod mini are now available in-store or ordered online, again for $99. The tech media 9to5Mac has already acquired the HomePod mini in these three new colors and brought an initial out-of-the-box experience.

The 9to5Mac means that the new HomePod mini is very delicately packaged, and the packaging is not white, but in the same blue, yellow and orange color as the interior. They are absolutely gorgeous and the colors are eye-catching. Each box has a unique "mini" with different sound-related effects applied to it. The top of each box also shows the colors that appear on top of the new HomePod mini box.
Among the 3 color schemes launched this time, 9to5Mac editors personally like yellow the most. Its white glass top panel has matching yellow volume buttons, which is really trendy. In fact, every new HomePod mini has a white top plate instead of a matching top plate.
The HomePod mini has had a non-removable braided USB-C cable since its inception, but the new model has a matching color cable. The yellow HomePod mini has a subtle yellow braided thread. It looks like the yellow braided thread that comes with the yellow M1 iMac. The same goes for the orange HomePod mini, which has a light orange cable.
