Live Bar June 27, 2019 In the semi-finals of the men's 110m hurdles of the US Athletics Trials, 2019 World Championships champion Holloway ran a staggering 12.81 seconds (wind speed + 1.8 m/s) and set the second best time in the history of the 110m hurdles, second only to the world record Merritt's 12.80 seconds.

In February, Holloway also set a world record in the 60m hurdles: 7.29 seconds. He has won 12 consecutive games in all events in the 110m hurdles. Plus the outdoor race has even come to 22 games.

China's 110-meter hurdles star Liu Xiang's former best time (12.88 seconds) has retreated to the fourth place in history, preceded by Merritt's 12.80 seconds, Holloway's 12.81 seconds and Robbes' 12.87 seconds.

In the final of the men's 110m hurdles at the Japan National Athletics Championships, Junsuke Izumitani broke the Japanese national record with 13.06 seconds (+1.2 m/s), becoming the second yellow race after Liu Xiang to be able to open the 13.10 seconds mark.
