On November 2, local time, British government officials said that France had released a British fishing boat that was seized last week.
In media interviews on the same day, when asked whether the seized British fishing boat had been released, British Environment Secretary George Eustis gave a positive answer. Eustis said it marked a concession by France in the dispute over fishing rights between the two sides, which Britain welcomed.
