Because, although Xiaopeng P7 has performed well in the domestic high-end electric car market, the consumers at this price point are not the majority, and only by pulling the model price down to less than 200,000 yuan can we cover a wider range of car users. So does Xiaopeng P5 have the strength to impress this part of the consumer? Let's experience it today.

Design:

First of all, unlike the other two models, the Xiaopeng P5 adopts a new design element, which is based on the X ROBOT FACE modeling concept.

For example, the X-shaped front face, with a penetrating front grille and sharp headlights on both sides, makes the front face look quite recognizable. On the side of the body, the lines of the new car are relatively smooth, the hidden door handles are not absent, and the sneakback shape is a major highlight.

In terms of battery life, Xiaopeng P5 launched three neDC ranges, divided into lithium iron phosphate battery and ternary lithium battery version, battery capacity of 55.9 kWh, 66.2 kWh and 71.4 kWh, corresponding to 460 km, 550 km and 600 km. Of course, this feeling is in standard mode. In addition, xiaopeng P5 also has an economic model and a sports mode. Of course, since you chose ECO, the purpose is to save electricity, but also what driving experience, so there is actually nothing wrong with this adjustment.

In the sports mode, the power of the Xiaopeng P5 will come relatively fast, and even when the speed is accelerated in the front section, there will be a little feeling of channeling. Of course, in the case of daily transportation, it is still recommended to adjust to the standard state, whether it is a low-speed or high-speed period, the linearity of its power output is very friendly.

In terms of steering, the Xiaopeng P5 offers three modes: gentle, standard and sporty. The steering wheel in the gentle mode feels as light as if it were in control of a toy car; while the steering wheel in the sport mode always has a feeling of competition, and I personally feel that daily driving is still set to the standard mode, the feel will not be too heavy, and the proportion of the steering is more moderate.

In terms of suspension, xiaopeng P5 is equipped with front McPherson, rear torque beam non-independent suspension, if you want to compare with hardware, Xiaopeng P5 is indeed not dominant, but fortunately it is very well tuned.

In the actual riding experience, such as when passing some speed bumps, the bounce of xiaopeng P5 is filtered more thoroughly, there is no unnecessary undulation, and the overall suspension personally feels very tough. Of course, this feeling has something to do with the softer padding of the seats in the car.
