First, according to the control object to choose the color of the armyworm board
At present, there are two main types of armyworm boards on the market: yellow and blue.
Yellow plate: can trap aphids, whiteflies, whitefly, planthoppers, leafhoppers, spotted flycatchers and so on
Blue Plate: Can trap breeding flies, thrips and other insects.
It also has a good control effect on viral diseases that are vectored by these insects.
Yellow plates and blue plates are usually used to hang each other, which can trap and kill a variety of pests such as whitefly, thrips, mites and aphids at the same time.

01, hanging board time
1. When used for monitoring, it is suspended from the seedling stage of crops, and 1-2 pieces are suspended per standard shed. Use from the seedling and colonization stages, maintaining uninterrupted use can effectively control the development of pests.
2. When used for control, in the early stage of insect infestation, especially in spring and summer.
02, hanging method
Pass wire or rope through the two suspension holes of the trap board, secure it, and hold the ends of the trap board tightly and vertically suspended in the upper part of the greenhouse or greenhouse.
In an open-air environment, a wooden stick or bamboo piece should be used to fix it on both sides of the insect trap board, and then inserted into the ground to fix it.
03, the amount per acre
For monitoring, 1-2 sheets per acre can be hung;
When used for control, it is advisable to hang 40-60 sheets per acre, and the specific number of uses should be determined according to the increase in the number of pests adhering to the insect trap board;
When used in conjunction with the lure core (that is, the lure core is inserted in the center of the plate), the amount of suspension can be appropriately reduced, and about 20-30 sheets per acre can be used.
04. Replacement time
Replace the trap board when the pest is so full of traps that it can no longer stick to the pest.
When the insect trap board loses its adhesion due to wind and sun and rain erosion, it should be replaced in time.
The outdoor suspension time of the harvest insect trap board is long-lasting, up to 3 months, and has the characteristics of good viscosity and high temperature without glue.

The use of insect trap plates will be more effective in controlling pests if used in conjunction with other integrated control measures (insecticidal lamps, sex attractants, etc.).
Third, precautions for the use of insect trap plates
1. The start time of use of the armyworm board should be appropriate after the crop is fixed, which can effectively control the number of pests and the spread rate. And as the crop grows taller, the height of the armyworm plate is raised.
2. The enticing effect on sunny days is obviously better than that on rainy days, and the tendency of pests to color is much greater than that of stationary when moving. If you tap a plant with whitefly with your hand, the adult whitefly will fly in groups and vigorously to the yellow board.
The armyworm swatch should be used in conjunction with other integrated management measures to more effectively control pests.
3. The armyworm swatch should be rain-resistant and ultraviolet-resistant products. The main component of viscose is non-toxic pressure-sensitive adhesive, if accidentally stuck to the hand, it can be cleaned with detergents or solvents.
4. Due to the tenderness of whitefly, the time for the control of whitefly should be appropriately early, and the height of the yellow plate should be appropriately adjusted according to the growth of the crop.
6. Do a good job in predicting and forecasting pests, pay attention to the peak of adult insect occurrence, and if the pest is serious, it should be sprayed in time for control.
