Some say boxing is the sport of the brave; some say boxing is the sport of the victor; some say boxing is the sport of the poor; others say boxing is the sport of the nobility; from anyone's point of view, boxing is, in any case, a vibrant, passionate sport.

But I believe that few people will feel that boxing is a lovely sport! Because it has to fight, to bleed, to suffer, to be injured, and possibly even to face death. Therefore, although boxing fitness has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people in recent years, almost every gym in large and medium-sized cities will also have professional, fake instructors, leading members to hit the "popping" of hand targets or sandbags.
But most people are only willing to stay in fitness, fat loss, exercise heart and lungs, and vent pressure. Even the love of most professional boxers and professional team athletes in the circle for boxing will not be much more than the little whites outside these circles.
In the past, the Chinese media was always full of interviews with miners boxers, takeaway fighters, taxi fighters, pork fighters and so on. There are countless articles praising "inspirational boxers" such as these. Zhao Benshan's granddaughter wanted to go up the Slippery Avenue and had to: "Come, first give Grandpa Bi a cry!" "This phenomenon is also constantly playing out in the boxing world.
Many professional boxers are afraid that the reporter's self is not miserable enough, and they always add fuel to the fire to depict their hard career, bleeding and sweating, hundreds of pieces in a game, seven teeth knocked out in one punch, and so on. It will even make people mistakenly think that only people who are born without love, or even have a pit in their brains, will become boxers. The boxers are really pathetic!
In addition to being miserable, the media always likes to render the other extreme world of boxing, that is, sudden wealth and super tycoons. Among them, the writers' favorite is probably these two gods: "Money" Floyd Mayweather and "Beast" Mike Tyson. The former, because of the appearance fee of more than 200 million US dollars in a game, and the scattering of money everywhere, has become the envy of everyone. The classic example of the latter is to spend millions of dollars, raise several white Bengal tigers, and count the number of mansions and luxury cars.
The boxers are really enviable!
But, what I have to ask is! Could it be that boxing can only be done because you can't find a job? Boxing can only be because the family is poor? Punching just to vent violence? Boxing just for fame, profit, money? You punch, why can't you be the same as me? Because I like it! It's that simple.
The ancients said: "Those who know are not as good as those who are good, and those who are good are not as good as those who are happy." "I believe that any cultural, sports, or art project is more or less like this, and perhaps this is the crux of Chinese boxing."
In the sport of boxing, there are too few "good people" or even "happy people" in China. Perhaps, finding more Chinese boxing "musicians" is our most urgent task. But how does this happen?
Not long ago, a boxing variety show "Fist to Us", which was broadcast on the Internet, seemed to have found such a new road. As early as 4 years ago, another sports variety show also attracted my attention: "This is street dance". In the third and fourth seasons that followed, the author looked at the Chinese dancers who could already make the world's top street dance gods, and the front Battle was also unambiguous. In my heart, I was envious and sad.
Boxing, the Olympic program, has a complete youth selection system, but also has strong financial support for national projects. To this day, all the world's boxers can count on one hand. There is even a sad situation in which there is not a single active boxer today.
Look at hip-hop! There was no state support, no talent selection; with the love of a group of first-generation dancers, they came out of today's booming situation. Many of China's world street dance champions have said that it is because of love that they have gone to achieve today's achievements. They can ignore it in order to dance, they can sleep and forget to eat, and they can even give up everything!
With the popularity of "This Street", more children have joined the hip-hop family because of their love, forming a virtuous circle! It can be seen that the importance of "Happy People" for a cultural and sports project! And "Boxing Us" is likely to attract a group of boxing "happy people" for us.
To fall in love with a sport, first understand a sport! Therefore, the positive interpretation and dissemination of the sport is particularly important. For example, when you mention hip-hop, if all you hear is, it will cause you all kinds of strains and fractures; when you mention marathon, if you hear only, it will cause irreversible wear and tear on your knees. So would you still choose these sports? Obviously not.
In the same way, when it comes to boxing, if you only mention that you will be injured and bleed, then you will not be able to win the favor of beginners.
At this point, "We Who Fight Hard" has done a very good job, and the program has focused on explaining the spiritual core of boxing, self-reliance, indomitability, never giving up, bright sword spirit and so on. Let the audience know that practicing boxing can build your strong physique and strong heart at the same time, so that you can first establish a positive image of boxing in the minds of the audience.
At the same time, we can also discover other benefits of boxing from the show. For example, zhang dada lost 30 pounds after practicing boxing; for example, some crying little fresh meat became stronger and more manly after practicing boxing; and so on.
In addition, many guests in the show, such as Zhang Shaogang, Deng Ziqi, Shen Mengchen, Li Sidani, Xia Zhiguang, Zhang Yanqi, and other stars praised and endorsed the sport.
Both can make the audience who do not understand the sport of boxing form a good impression of boxing. Then it lays the groundwork for them to be able to walk into the boxing gym, step into the ring, and get in touch with and fall in love with the sport.
Of course, even if these audiences enter the boxing gym and start practicing boxing, they may not be able to become boxers or even boxing kings, but they can form a good social atmosphere.
When most people no longer think of boxing as just violent and bloody, but as a scientific sport, a healthy sport, a positive sport. When more people can be willing to experience the charm of boxing and appreciate the excitement of boxing. Then there will be more people who become boxing practitioners because of their hobbies, so that the boxing project will usher in more "happy people".
And we also have reason to believe that among these "happy people", there will be Chinese super boxing kings Mike Tyson and Roy Jones, or China's famous brokers Luo Qi and Arum, and Chinese boxing can also go to glory.
Therefore, as a boxing fan and an amateur boxer, I will definitely continue to support "We Who Fight Hard", and wish this show a hit and a hot search. And look forward to more similar shows, waiting for the day when Chinese boxing rises!
