Weather forecasters in Yunnan Province compete in vocational skills

Yunnan Netnews (reporter Chen Yunfen) On October 26, the 18th Yunnan Provincial Employee Vocational Skills Competition and the 6th Meteorological Industry Weather Forecast Vocational Skills Competition in Yunnan Province kicked off in Kunming, with 24 representative teams from 22 units participating.

The contestants competed in business around building the first line of defense for meteorological disaster prevention and mitigation, building a world-class army, and empowering the development of Yunnan aviation industry. The competition added a test of accurate forecasting ability, further guiding forecasters across the industry to adapt to the development of intelligent digital weather forecasting.
