Recently, due to the suspension of the opening of Nantu due to the epidemic, the Department of History and Literature has specially selected 112 ancient books selected from the "National Precious Ancient Books List", and successively launched online exhibitions according to the four special topics of "Tang and Song Ben", "Liaojin Yuanben", "Ming and Qing Ben" and "Manuscript Manuscript". According to statistics, in the six batches of the National Precious Ancient Books Directory that have been released so far, 13,026 ancient books collected by 487 units across the country have been selected, of which 631 are collected by nanjing libraries.

The five volumes of Mr. Yitang's Collected Writings contain Wang Zhuo's poetic works. Wang Zhuo lived around the time of Emperor Shenzong of the Northern Song Dynasty and Emperor Gaozong of the Southern Song Dynasty, and he devoted himself to writing, dabbling in literature, opera, music and other fields. This edition of the anthology is an eight-year engraving of Song Qiandao, with beautiful italic characters and sparse layouts, which are pleasing to the eye. The Song Cai Qijia Shu engraved version of the Book of Han is a hundred volumes of the Book of Han, which was compiled by Ban Gu in the Han Dynasty and an ancient note by Yan Shi in the Tang Dynasty. The Book of Han is the first chronicle of the Broken Dynasty, and Tang Yan Shigu has collected the annotations of various families since the Han and Wei Dynasties, and is the best annotated version of the Book of Han. This edition of the Southern Song Dynasty inscription is one of the earliest surviving inscriptions. The lines are sparse, the characters are as big as money, and they are the top products in the Song carved version.

More rare than "yan value" is the connotation, some Song Ben retained almost lost literature, with valuable documentary value. The Collected Writings of Mr. Changli of the Five Hundred Zhuyin Dialects of the New Periodicals is a collection of Hanyu essays engraved by the Song Dynasty, and a number of proofreadings are compiled under each sentence. Although "five hundred" is an imaginary number, there are actually more than 300. Among them, many of the Song Dynasty documents cited in the commentary have been lost, and it is thanks to this book that some of the text has been preserved.

Liu Ru, a talented woman in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, was one of the eight Yans of Qin Huai. How beautiful and talented is Liu Ru? The Yuan engraving "Lefu New Compilation of Yangchun White Snow", which has been selected as one of the top ten rare books of Nantu, has a small portrait of Liu Ru in front of the main text, and there is also a batch of Liu Ruyi in the book, as well as the inscriptions of bibliophiles Huang Pilie and Ding Bing. This book is a collection of Yuan Dynasty scattered songs compiled by Yang Chaoying in the Yuan Dynasty, and it is also the earliest and most widely circulated Yuan Dynasty Song selected by Yuan. Perhaps, the talented girl Liu Ru has repeatedly read and tasted, and left her "photos" in the book. In this small portrait, Liu Ru is a clear eyebrow, wearing a women's Taoist costume, simple and unpretentious.

This online exhibition, thanks to high-definition electronic scans, gives us a glimpse of the lineup of ancient books. At present, more than 10,000 precious rare books and ancient books in the Collection of Nantu have been digitized, and readers can consult electronic scans.
How many ancient books are there in the Nanjing Library? As one of the first batch of key ancient books protection units in China, it now has 1.6 million ancient books (pieces), including more than 12,000 rare books and 140,000 volumes (pieces), ranking third in the country.
Since the launch of the Chinese Ancient Books Protection Plan in 2007, 6 batches of the National Precious Ancient Books Directory have been selected and published, with a total of 13,026 ancient books. A total of 631 Nanjing Libraries were selected, accounting for 4.8% of the national total. A total of 1422 precious ancient books in Jiangsu were selected, accounting for 10.9% of the national total.
In the sixth batch of the National Precious Ancient Books List released in 2020, Nantu has a total of 107 selected, which is the largest number of ancient book collection units except for the National Library. These selected ancient books include the Tang Dynasty Manuscript, the Song Inscribed Edition, the Song Inscribed Yuanming Revised Edition, the Yuan-inscribed Ming Revised Edition, the Ming Inscribed Edition, the Ming Codex, the Overprinted Edition, the Manuscript Edition, the Nansange Siku Quanshu Edition, and the Siku BaseBook.
