
The western extension of Jinsha West Road (berm road to Niutianyang Expressway section) has a total length of about 6.36 kilometers, and the project and the Niutianyang Expressway Project are packaged and constructed in the PPP project mode. Berm road to Chaoshan road section
The western extension of Jinsha West Road (berm road to Chaoshan road section) is mainly to remove the green separation belt between the car lane and the motorcycle lane, build a new central green belt, expand the original two-way four-lane traffic road to a two-way six-lane road, and dismantle and rebuild the pedestrian bridge along the line.

At the same time, the sidewalk of this section of the road was improved and modified, and granite was used for paving.
After a period of transformation, the south pavement has been completed and tested, only the north pavement is still being reconstructed, and the last operating section is undergoing pavement structural layers, pipelines and sidewalk construction, which is expected to be completed before the end of the year.

Chaoshan Road to Xigang Road
After crossing Chaoshan Road, it is connected to the new section of the western extension of Jinsha. As can be seen from the aerial photograph, a new road has been formed next to the bus terminal, and the western extension of Jinsha West Road intersects with Chaoshan Road and Jiefang Bridge to form a very "strange" intersection, and it seems that the western extension of Jinsha West Road conflicts with the Jiefang Bridge. Chengshijun speculated that perhaps the jiefang bridge would be demolished and remodeled to resolve the conflict? Of course this is just a conjecture, not necessarily right!

However, the construction progress of this section of the road does not look very ideal, especially after crossing the Xialing intersection to the west, although some houses give people a feeling of "people go to the empty building", and most of the shops under these buildings have written a "demolition" word, but the houses blocking the construction of the road have not been completely demolished, so only this section of the road near the bus terminal in this section of the road is formed, and the rest is still trapped by the problem of requisition and demolition.

In addition, this section of the road is a two-way six-lane road, with a central green belt, and the sidewalk adopts a non-common board design and granite paving.

Xigang Road to Niutianyang Expressway
This section is the most special because there is an interchange at each end of the road, namely the Westport Interchange and the Niukuai-Jinsha West Road Interchange.

The Westport Interchange includes 1 main line bridge and 9 ramp bridges, the main line crosses the West Port River and the Dagang River, and is interconnected with the West Port Section of the Jinfeng Road Bridge, south to the Brick Stone Bridge, and north to Jinfeng Road.

At present, among the main line bridges and 9 ramp bridges in the Westport interchange, one of the north-south ramps has been opened ahead of schedule. Only the steel box girder in the middle section of the Xigang River is erected, and the rest of the water has completed the construction of the main structure and entered the auxiliary engineering construction of the bridge deck.

The prototype of the Westport interchange has been presented, and it looks like an eagle spreading its wings in the air.
However, after passing the Westport Interchange and continuing to the west, Niutian Yangshang does not seem to see any movement, and I don't know why it is "can't say" that the road surface of the NiutianYang section (the name of this road marked on some documents is "Jinjin Avenue") has not been able to start construction smoothly. It was not until the end of the niu kuai-Jinsha West Road interchange that there was a little sign of construction.
However, the construction of the road to the west of the Niu kuai-Jinsha West interchange has not started, and the road to the south until the north bank of the Niutian Yangte Bridge has not started construction for some "unspeakable" reason, and the road to the east is in the planning stage... It can only be said that it is really difficult for this interchange to be "sound on all fours"!
⊙ Niu Kuai-Jinsha West Interchange
Looking at the entire road, only the construction progress of the berm road to the Chaoshan section and the Xigang interchange is ideal, and the other sections of the road are obstructed and long... But in any case, the opening of the section from Chaoshan Road to Xigang Road is the most important, and its completion will make it more convenient for the central urban area to travel with haojiang and Chaoyang districts.
