The International Calligraphy and Painting Festival and the China Calligraphy and Painting World Summit Forum are brand activities of the China Calligraphy and Painting World Tour, which is established to disseminate the art of calligraphy and painting and promote international exchanges of calligraphy and painting. Previous international calligraphy and painting festivals and Chinese calligraphy and painting world summit forums were held in Bangkok, Thailand, Florence, Italy, and Yeosu, South Korea.
In order to showcase the new level of contemporary Chinese painting creation at the 3rd International Calligraphy and Painting Festival, after the research of the Hawaii State Government, the Hawaii Convention and Exhibition Center, the Hawaii International Art and Economic Cooperation Organization, and the Sino-Foreign Exchange Center of the International Calligraphy and Painting Research Association of the Chinese Ministry of Culture, it is proposed to nominate 40 representative painters of Chinese painting, and the 3rd Hawaii International Calligraphy and Painting Festival, which opened on November 17, specially set up the "Global Contemporary Chinese Painting Representative Figures Forty Exhibition" (Hawaii· 2017). ”

Forty painters were invited by the Governor of Hawaii to visit the Hawaii state government and arranged visits to Pearl Harbor, the Royal Palace, Microskiy Beach, and Oahu.
Zheng Dongwei set off on November 16, 2017 Beijing time, and on November 17, 2017, US time, he participated in the opening ceremony of the 3rd International International Calligraphy and Painting Festival (Hawaii 2017) and the 4th China Calligraphy and Painting World Summit Forum, and exhibited his own works.
