On October 31, the National Fire Industry Vocational Skills Competition closed in Nanjing. Qiong Se, member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Emergency Management and director of the Fire Rescue Bureau, announced the closing of the competition by video, and Zhan Shouwang, secretary of the Party Committee and political commissar of the Fire and Rescue Bureau, delivered a closing speech. Vice Governor Hui Jianlin and Deputy Director of the Fire and Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Emergency Management Wei Handong attended the closing ceremony and awarded the "Honorary Golden Helmet" to the champions of each project. Zhou Xiang, chief of the Jiangsu Provincial Fire Rescue Corps, and Liu Xixin, political commissar, attended the closing ceremony, and Deputy Captain Chen Lixin took the stage on behalf of the corps to receive the Excellent Organization Award.
11 fire elites of the Jiangsu Fire Protection Team participated in the competition of 6 projects, and finally won 2 gold, 1 silver and 4 excellent results, and won 2 "honorary gold helmets".
Among them, Li Tao, a firefighter at the Xicheng Fire Rescue Station in Fengxian County, Xuzhou Fire Rescue Detachment, won the championship of the "Fire Communicator" project (Module A UAV Aerial Photography Reconnaissance 2nd Place, Module B UAV Precision Throw 1st Place, Module C On-site Communication Support 1st Place).
Shi Xiaoyong, an employee of the 55th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, won the "Fire Facility Operator" project champion (Module A Fire Automatic Alarm System 2nd Place, Module B Fire Telephone and Emergency Broadcast 1st Place, Module C Fire Separation Facility and Smoke Prevention System 8th Place, Module D Emergency Lighting and Evacuation Instruction System 7th Place, Module E Automatic Fire Extinguishing System 5th Place).
Zhang Yi, a full-time member of the Nantong Fire Rescue Detachment, won the second place in the equipment maintenance competition project (1st place in the cutting saw module, 2nd place in the lifting car module, and 5th place in the air breathing apparatus module).
Hu Qiuyang, a full-time member of the Yancheng Fire Rescue Detachment, won the 4th place in the national fire communicator competition project and the winner award (3rd place in module A UAV aerial aerial reconnaissance, 8th place in module B UAV precision throwing, and 21st place in module C on-site communication support).
Wang Yiyong, a full-time member of the Suzhou Fire Rescue Detachment, won the 4th place in the emergency rescuer competition project and the winner award (20th place in the comprehensive rescue module, 5th place in the water rescue module, and 4th place in the rope rescue module).
Feng Qing of the Xingyuan Road Fire Rescue Station of the Liangxi District Brigade of Wuxi Fire Rescue Detachment won the 5th place in the national fire fighting combatant competition project and the winner award (3rd place in the attack skill module, 4th place in the climbing hook ladder module, 12th place in the limit crossing module, and 27th place in the 100-meter fire obstacle module).
Wang Wen of the Xiyuan Road Special Fire Station of Suzhou Fire Rescue Detachment won the 5th place in the equipment maintenance group and the winner of the award (1st place in the lifting car module, 3rd place in the air breathing apparatus module, and 14th place in the cutting saw module).
Xu Bohong, a full-time member of the Nantong Detachment, won the 18th place in the fire extinguisher project (11th place in the 100-meter fire obstacle module, 13th place in the climbing hook ladder module, 29th place in the attacking skills module, and 29th place in the limit crossing module).
Zhang Junfang, a firefighter of the special service brigade of the Nanjing Fire Rescue Detachment, won the 22nd place in the country in the emergency rescuer project (the comprehensive rescue module was scrapped, the water rescue module was 4th, and the rope rescue module was 7th).
Du Xubin, a trainer of the Special Service Brigade of Nanjing Fire Rescue Detachment, won the 20th place in the national search and rescue dog trainer project competition (module A obeys the command full score, module B climbing obstacle is deducted 2.5 points, module C box search and rescue full score)
In addition, Wang Tao of the Fire Prevention Supervision Section of the Lianyungang Fire Rescue Detachment and Ge Yong'an of the Information and Communications Section of the Xuzhou Fire Rescue Detachment were both awarded the title of "Excellent Coach"; the Jiangsu Provincial Fire Rescue Corps was awarded the "Excellent Organizational Unit".
"March to victory and fight for the people". Jointly organized by the Ministry of Emergency Management, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the competition has 21 modules of 6 competition projects, including fire fighting combatants, emergency rescuers, search and rescue dog trainers, fire equipment maintenance personnel, fire fighting facilities operators, and fire communicators, and 31 representative teams and more than 300 team members from various provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) across the country have participated in the competition, which is the first time that the national comprehensive fire rescue team has been held openly to the public in the three years since its establishment. It is also the national vocational skills competition with the highest specifications, the largest number of projects, the largest scale and the highest level in China's fire protection industry.
According to the reward policy of the competition, the team members who have obtained the corresponding rank and meet the conditions will be recommended to award the "National Technical Expert", "National Youth Job Expert" and "National May Day Labor Medal", and promote the vocational qualification or vocational skill level according to the regulations. Participants of the national comprehensive fire rescue team and the government full-time fire brigade will be rewarded accordingly according to their ranks.
