Recently, Zhejiang Province officially launched the new crown virus vaccination work for people aged 3 to 11. On the weekend of October 30 and 31, more than 3,000 "divine beasts" were vaccinated with the first dose of the new crown virus vaccine at the square cabin vaccination point in Jiubao Street, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou.
On the afternoon of November 1, at the vaccination site, because the primary school had not yet finished school, the on-site vaccination population was mainly kindergarten students. Around 16:00, the number of elementary school students who came to vaccinate increased. The relevant person in charge of Jiubao Street said that there are 25 kindergartens and primary schools in the district, of which more than 15,000 children are between the ages of 3 and 11. According to the unified deployment of the Shangcheng District Health and Health Bureau, the street arranged for the first round of new coronavirus vaccination for 3 to 11-year-olds to be held for 6 consecutive days from October 30 to November 4, during which the peak vaccination of kindergartens, primary schools and other students in the jurisdiction was organized at different times every day, and the vaccination time was extended to 7:30 pm.
Shen Ling, deputy director of the Jiubao Street Community Health Service Center, said that in order to do a good job in the new crown virus vaccination work for people aged 3 to 11 years old, they have specially trained the staff and formulated an emergency plan before that. It is understood that the relevant departments of the Shangcheng District Health and Health Bureau have arranged clinicians and nurses with pediatric emergency response capabilities in general hospitals above the second level to be responsible for on-site stationing guarantees. The emergency room of the vaccination site is equipped with pediatric-specific emergency facilities and equipment and medicines, and outside the emergency department, a Hangzhou Emergency Center 120 ambulance is parked next to the building.
Medical staff and street workers maintained order at the scene. In the observation area, many primary school students were attracted by the cartoons broadcast on TV and watched them with relish. It is reported that as of 24:00 on November 1, Jiubao Street has received a total of 4144 doses of new coronavirus vaccine for people aged 3 to 11 years old.
