Xiangsheng Examination 134: Tong Dafang of the Xiangsheng family "JiaoJiamen"
Tong Dafang, born in 1919, is a cross-talk and storyteller. In addition, he is also an octagonal drum single string artist and a Beijing opera actor.
Xiangsheng master Chengguo Qiru, commentator Chengzhang Shouchen (1953 worship), single string master Chengjin Xiaoshan (1938 worship). Because Xiangsheng worships Guo Qiru, it is a bit inappropriate to call Tong Dafang a disciple of Jiao Jiamen, and in XiangshengMen, he should be a disciple under Liu Dezhi. Liu Dezhi's fame is not as great as Jiao Dehai's, so the cross-talk family tree attributes Tong Dafang to Zhang Shouchen. This seems a bit out of the ordinary, confusing the cross-talk gate with the storytelling gate. Since the cross-talk family tree is confused, xiaobian also attributed Tong Dafang to Jiaojiamen.
Tong Dafang's cross-talk partners include Tan Boru and Du Sanbao, and the regular performance venue is Tianjin Xiaoliyuan.

In 1984, Tong Dafang died at the age of 65.
Tong Dafang's main works include "Article Meeting", "Zhuanwen", "Qing Palace Complaint", "Arrow Pole Riverside", "Yang Naiwu and Little Cabbage" and so on.
Tong Dafang's important contribution was to create a local opera --- Beijing opera together with Cao Baolu, Wei Xikui, Li Baoyan, etc. Tong Dafang's representative opera is "Laughing at the Marriage" (the main character is Shen Sanxian), Cao Baolu and Gao Deming are collectively known as "Groove Cake", and are the agents (palm caves) of the Beijing Chengtanghui.
In addition, Jiang Yiting, Ma Yihua, Yu Shuhai and other three people formed a three-person group to practice economic mutual assistance in the three-person group, and the three people who made money were divided among the three. Because Shuhai, Ma Yihua and others staged a new commentary based on the novel of the same name, "The Biography of the Hero of Lüliang", at the Wanheng Tea Society in Bird City, it was welcomed by the audience. After the success, book critics have followed suit. Yang Tianrong, Shao Zengtao, Gu Cunde, Jiang Cunrui, Li Qingliang, Xu Lianhe, Tong Dafang, and others created works such as "Biography of a New Children's Hero," "Railway Guerrilla," "Defending Yan'an," "Tunnel Warfare," "Fighting in the Heart of the Enemy," "Feiyungang," "Wildfire Spring Wind Fighting Ancient City," "Red Courage and Loyalty," "Children's Wind and Dust," and "Red Flag Spectrum."
Tong Dafang's apprentices were Yao Yuming, Zhang Wenshun, and Bi Chengwen. Zhao Rongquan also said many times that he had received the teachings of Tong Dafang. For Zhang Wenshun's master Chengtong Dafang, there are voices of doubt on the Internet, mainly saying that Tong Dafang is from Tianjin, and Zhang Wenshun has never left Beijing; and with Tong Dafang's master, it is certainly impossible to accept an apprentice like Zhang Wenshun. It is not enough to believe it, because no strong evidence has been presented, it is just speculation. In fact, the Beijing Tianqiao Cinema was unique before screening the film, and asked the cross-talk actor Tong Dafang to say a cross-talk, so as to compete with other cinemas. This proves that Tong Dafang has come to Beijing and has definitely had a chance to meet Zhang Wenshun. In addition, Tong Dafang is a member of the cross-talk improvement team, how come he has never been to Beijing?
But what is interesting is that Zhang Wenshun once said "Eight Great Changes" with Guo Degang, and Guo Degang ridiculed Zhang Wenshun: Tong Dafang accepted Zhang Wenshun as an apprentice, gave him a stage name Haiqing, and later received several, Haiqing, Haihong, Sea Oysters, Sea Melon Seeds, Sea Crabs! I don't know if Guo Degang knows any secrets, whether he is deliberately mapping.
Speaking of secrets, there is really one about Tong Dafang, saying that Tong Dafang is honest, serious from art, and dedicates his life to the regiment. After his death, the family wanted to ask the troupe to keep a performance robe to commemorate, but the leader of the troupe categorically refused, and contributed to the protection of the unit's property.
