According to the BBC website reported on May 16, Pig Brother Liang, whose real name is Xie Xinda, was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in 1946, and was active in the Taiwan runway in the 1980s. He hosted in Hokkien and was good at being funny and open-ended, and at that time, "Brother Pig's Bright Song Hall Show" was a well-known program in Taiwan. Brother Pig's signature "toilet lid" hairstyle and unique tone of speech have been disseminated through show performances and videos, and have become the common memory of generations of Taiwanese.

According to the report, Pig Brother Liang earned a lot of money with the show host, but because he was addicted to gambling, he was shot by the underworld in the show in the late 80s, and disappeared in the 90s due to a large amount of debt, "reclusive" for more than ten years, and in 2009, he came back under the support of the artist's friends, and the program he hosted, "Brother Pig Club", won the TV Golden Bell Variety Show Host Award in 2010.
