"When faced with a life-and-death decision, as long as they say where the main force of the Red Army is going and where the command organs are located, they can live, but none of the more than 130 wounded and sick members of the Red Army have spoken, and none of them have said a word..." Speaking of the emotional place, Yao Yuzhen paused for a while, and she raised her voice, "What is faith?" Faith is to give one's life to one's own identified cause, no matter how difficult or dangerous, no matter success or failure. ”

Listening to the teaching and looking at the plaque engraved with "Long Live the Martyrs", the students burst into tears and fell into contemplation. "Revolutionary martyrs sacrificed their lives for the ideals in their hearts, and many people did not even leave their names after they sacrificed." Xu Weiping, dean of the Hunan Vocational College of Labor and Personnel, said deeply, "Feeling the revolutionary history in Jinggangshan made me more deeply aware of what firm ideals and convictions mean for communists." ”

Jinggangshan, the cradle of the Chinese Revolution. "Firm faith, hard struggle, seeking truth from facts, daring to blaze new trails, relying on the masses, and having the courage to win", the spirit of Jinggangshan that travels through time and space, "firm faith" is the soul. Nowadays, it has become an important classroom for party members and cadres to educate on party spirit.

Turning over the curriculum of China's Jinggangshan Cadre College, theoretical education and party sex education account for the vast majority. Some important revolutionary sites, such as the former site of the Ciping Revolution and the Huangyang Boundary Outpost, have arranged rich on-site teaching, and have also developed special courses such as "Understanding the Initial Intention of the Communists from Mao Zedong's Poetry" and interview teaching of "Telling The Story of Fighting the Epidemic well and Carrying Forward the Spirit of Fighting the Epidemic".

"To do a good job in stressing the 'study of the heart' of communists and transforming the rich red resources of Jinggangshan into teaching resources, we should open up the docking point between history and reality, enhance the connotation of the times, stimulate students' reflection on the world outlook, values, and outlook on life, strengthen ideological tempering, enhance the cultivation of party spirit, and achieve the goal of 'having the resources to govern the way in view of the past.'" Mother does not use a thousand words to educate you, she uses practice to educate you. When you grow up, hopefully don't forget that your mother died for the country!" Four teachers took to the stage and recited Zhao Yiman's Shi'er'er's Letter, Chen Jue and Zhao Yunxiao's Farewell Letter and other revolutionary martyrs' family letters, telling about the ideals and beliefs they contained.

"This lesson brought me to tears many times, and the words in the family letter shone with the brilliance of party spirit." Dai Huahu, a member of the party group of the Chongqing Commissioner's Office of the National Audit Office, said: "Coming to the cadre college to receive education in party spirit is a spiritual baptism, and it is even more a refueling and charging. We must not forget the road ahead, keep firmly in mind the mission on our shoulders, and earnestly transform our ideals and beliefs into the persistent pursuit of the goal of struggle and the courage to take on urgent, difficult, dangerous, and heavy tasks. ”

Highlight the "party flavor" and emphasize the party spirit. In recent years, China's Jinggangshan Cadre College has dug deep into the advantages of red resources, carried out in-depth education in the party's basic theory and party spirit, used party history to emphasize party spirit, and continuously improved the pertinence of the times in training.

Translate lofty ideals into practical action

Seeing that he retired in December, Lao Jiang did not have the slightest intention of resting, or worked hard, and even rushed to work because of nostalgia. Jiang Guorong, a cadre of the Taxation Bureau of Zhenkang County, Yunnan Province, transferred from the army to work in the Muchang Township Finance Office in 1984, and has been working in the financial and taxation system for more than 30 years.

Zhenkang is located on the front line of the southwest border, and the pressure of "external defense import" to fight the epidemic is huge. In April this year, the county's government agencies, enterprises and institutions began to guarantee the border line in sections, one kilometer per capita. Seeing that there was no self in the first batch of border guards, Jiang Guorong was anxious, and he took the initiative to ask the party committee for help, and he had to join the first batch: "When I was in the army, I was stationed in the deep mountains and dense forests, and I also studied medical affairs, let me go up!"

Considering his age, the leader of the unit patiently explained to him: the station is more than 3 hours away from the county seat, there is no water, electricity and no signal, frequent landslides and mudslides in the rainy season, ants on the patrol line, and may also encounter landmines that have not been cleaned... Old Jiang's strength came up: "I am a veteran, the party has been 37 years old, and I am still afraid of this!"

On the same day, Jiang Guorong and the remaining 9 border guards of the unit went to the border line from the 113 boundary pile to the Santaipo duty point to garrison, and encountered "Lower Mawei" at night. The 10 people were divided into two stations, and as soon as everyone set up their tents, the rainstorm came, and the bedding was all wet. The weather was too cold, so everyone simply got up and roasted the fire and waited for dawn. In this way, patrolling the forest path no less than 8 times a day, chopping wood to cook rice, using gasoline engines to generate electricity for lighting, often having to fight in the wind and rain to stabilize the tent... The 60-year-old Jiang and his colleagues took turns on duty for more than two months.

Although the work is hard, whenever I see the party flag flying in the wind on the border line, everyone is full of a sense of mission in their hearts and has endless energy on their bodies. As a veteran party member, Jiang Guorong's understanding of ideals and beliefs is very simple, that is, "do more every day." ”

When Old Jiang was young, he worked in Muchang Township, running outside for more than 20 days a month, walking four or five hours a day to various villages, sometimes climbing mountains and rivers for a few cents of taxes; in order to protect the taxes, his clothes were sewn with large and small pockets, rain and wrestling, regardless of their own taxes; it was common to endure hunger, but hungry could not eat a porridge and a meal, take a needle and a thread...

Old Jiang is not highly educated, but he is a business expert of the unit. When he first touched the computer, he also felt "big head", so he followed the young people to learn, practiced hard, and slowly mastered the operation. Over the years, in order to grasp the spirit of the Party Central Committee and the decision-making and deployment, he often studied on the small stone table in the courtyard of the unit after work, "rotating like a top and absorbing water like a sponge."

"He has a good temper and good business, he has a hand in doing mass work, and the masses are used to looking for Old Ginger first when they come to do business." Colleague Shi Lei said.

One party member with one flag. Lao Jiang is like thousands of party members, wherever he goes, the vanguard and exemplary role of communist party members will be brought into play, and the party's work will continue to advance.

Unite people's hearts with firm faith

Looking at the newly repaired Tongzu Highway, Liu Shuwen, secretary of the Fourth Party Branch of Tianxinping Village, Qiaokou Town, Wangcheng District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, sighed very much: "The party members and the masses worked together with one heart, completed the land acquisition, invested in labor to repair the roadbed, purchased materials together, and the concrete pavement was directly paved upwards, and the whole process was called a smooth one!"

But a few years ago, such a good thing was always impossible. The current Tianxinping Village is formed by the merger of 4 villages after several rounds, "The village is not in harmony, once there are projects and funds, some party members and cadres think about the interests of the old village in the past." Chen Jie, general secretary of the party branch of Tian Xinping Village, said. It is difficult to land the project, let alone the development of independent industries.

It is difficult to achieve things if people are not in harmony. Shu Ou, then deputy secretary of the party committee of Qiaokou Town, concurrently served as the general secretary of the party branch of Tianxinping Village and began to concentrate on rectification. "We have found that some party members do not have a strong sense of the overall situation and guard their own 'one acre and three points of land', in the final analysis, their ideals and convictions are not firm." Shu Ou said.

"Our Party has lofty ideals and is engaged in the most magnificent cause, so how can it put private interests in the forefront?" Shu Ou said: Tian XinPing Village started with selecting the best and strongest teams and focused on strengthening education in ideals and beliefs. Several post-80s and post-90s party members were absorbed as members of the two village committees and grew into the "leading geese" in the village. Chen Jie, who returned to his hometown after doing business abroad in 2019, was trusted by the organization and the villagers, and the general secretary of the village party branch and the director of the village committee shouldered each other.

Strict political life within the party is a political experience for party members, and the new village and two committee teams have built a position for party members' activities, and conscientiously implemented the "three meetings and one lesson" and the theme party day system. The standardization construction of 6 party branches has been completed one after another, and 12 new party group activity venues have been built.

The village often organizes party member activities, and through visits, study and training, guide party members to strengthen their ideals and beliefs and enhance the motivation of officials to start a business. Liu Zhipeng, a new development party member, is a post-90s generation, and his deepest impression is the party day activity on the theme of learning Lei Feng. The young party members in the village visited the Lei Feng Memorial Hall and Lei Feng's former residence in Wangcheng and read Lei Feng's biography. "Lei Feng has firm ideals and convictions, and does not care about personal gains and losses in his actions, but for the interests of the masses." This deeply touched us and strengthened our original intention of serving the people. Liu Zhipeng said.

The young party members took action, took the initiative to join the village collective economic cooperative, and led the establishment of the "Tian Xin Qingchuang" public welfare organization. "The name uses the name of the village, and it also contains the meaning of 'there is a field in the heart', expressing our determination to continue to strive for rural revitalization and common prosperity." Liu Zhipeng said that every year during the harvest season, young party members are active in major markets and catering enterprises around Wangcheng, and non-profit organizations volunteer to help shrimp farmers contact and sell, and guide the shrimp farming technology of poor households in the village.

Party building leads and develops vigorously. At present, Tianxinping Village has built a demonstration lotus shrimp base of 1,000 mu, and the collective income of the village is stable at 300,000 or 400,000 yuan every year. In just a few years, the collective debt of the village has been greatly reduced, and the development of the village has entered a benign track.
