SHL supports Purple Tuesday to raise awareness and improvements about the value and needs of customers with disabilities

LONDON, Nov. 1, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- SHL today announced its sponsorship of Purple Tuesday's November 2, 2021 celebration. Purple Tuesday inspires organisations across the UK to enrich their knowledge, increase their understanding and explore practical ways to improve the experience of more than 14 million customers with disabilities in the UK.
The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for organizations to demonstrate the quality of care for their clients to people with disabilities and their families, including those with hidden disabilities, who make up 80% of the disability population, but whose needs are often overlooked.
Andy Bradshaw, CEO of SHL, said: "SHL recognises that neurodiversity and disability are key elements of corporate inclusion, but this is often overlooked, so it is an honor to partner with Purple Tuesday as we work together to create a better and more inclusive future," said SHL.
The company has partnered with Purple Tuesday on several projects, including a barrier-free review of its products and services, as well as a research project to understand the experience of people with autism and how to respond to pre-employment assessments, which is a first in its kind in the market and could provide best practice information for a fair pre-employment experience.
