A few days ago, the Discipline Inspection Commission of Bazhou Discipline Inspection Commission in Xinjiang reported five typical cases of unhealthy practices and corruption that harmed the interests of the masses, namely:

Wang Dongfang, former deputy township chief of Puhui Township in Korla City, illegally enjoyed subsidies for living in peace and enriching the people. From February 2011 to March 2015, Wang Dongfang took advantage of the influence of the position of deputy township chief of Puhui Township in Korla City to falsely claim to enjoy the subsidy of 47,000 yuan in rural settlement and enrichment in the name of others twice. Wang Dongfang was severely warned and punished by the party, and the proceeds of the violation of discipline were confiscated.

Kadir Niyazi, former member of the party branch of Kuoxi Haman Village in Tirekbazar Township, Luntai County, took the issue of subsidies related to agriculture. From January 2012 to December 2014, when Kadir Niyazi was a member of the party branch of Kuoxi Haman Village in Tirekbazar Township, Luntai County, he falsely reported in his and his wife's name the planting area of wheat, corn and cotton of 737.8 mu, and arbitraged agriculture-related subsidies totaling 37,500 yuan for personal living expenses. Kadir Niyazi was dismissed from his party post and the proceeds of the disciplinary violation were confiscated.

Gu Limai, member of the village committee of Dunkuotan Village, Dunkuotan Township, Yuli County, fraudulently used the name of others to take advantage of the issue of subsidies for living in peace and enriching the people. From January 2011 to January 2013, when Gulimai Remu Andi was a member of the village committee of Dunkuotan Village in Dunkuotan Township, Yuli County, he illegally claimed to enjoy two sets of 80 square meters of housing in dunkuotan township and Kumubag village in the name of others, and took a subsidy of 57,000 yuan for living in peace and wealth. Gulimai Remu Maimati was severely warned and punished by the party, and the proceeds of the violation of discipline were confiscated.

Pajehati Umail, secretary of the party branch and director of the village committee of Dianzi Village, Forty Mile Chengzi Town, Yanqi County, fraudulently used the name of others to take advantage of the subsidy for settling down and enriching the people. From January to December 2017, when Pajehati Umail was the secretary of the party branch and the director of the village committee of Dianzi Village in Forty Mile Chengzi Town, Yanqi County, he fraudulently used the name of others to claim a subsidy of 28,500 yuan in the name of others when he had already enjoyed the subsidy for living in peace and wealth. Pajehati Umail was severely warned by the party and the proceeds of the violation were confiscated.

Wang Bin, manager of Ruoqiang County Loulan Gas Co., Ltd., exceeded the standard to apportion costs to the masses. From September to October 2019, when Wang Bin was the manager of Ruoqiang County Loulan Gas Co., Ltd., in the implementation of the natural gas meter replacement project, without assessment and demonstration, the transportation and miscellaneous fees exceeded the standard and collected a total of 67,800 yuan from the masses, which increased the burden on the masses and harmed the interests of the masses. Wang Bin was punished with a warning from within the party, and the fees collected beyond the standard were converted into natural gas fees and returned to the masses.
