Mock the traitors, curse the devils! Those patriotic couplets during the anti-Japanese period, after watching the blood boiling!

Mocking the traitors deters the enemy

During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the people hated traitors who betrayed the country and sought glory to the bone, which was also reflected in the couplet. Some business homes combine the characteristics of the industry to paste unique anti-Japanese couplets.

A blacksmith shop couplet wrote: "Forge a treasure sword and kill more enemies; and sharply shovel all the hoes and rapes." ”

A barbershop in Chongqing posted a couplet: "If you don't get rid of the Wokou, what face do you have?" The national vendetta was not repaid, and this head was borne. "The meaning of this couplet goes beyond haircuts, puns, patriotic enthusiasm and national integrity.

A couplet from a teahouse reads: "Air raids impermanent guests pay for tea first; the official orders national defense secrets to adjourn." "The joint language is sentimental about the current situation, alluding to the government's passive anti-Japanese resistance, like tea tasting is evocative."

A Guanyin temple in Linxian County, Shanxi Province, has a mysterious connection that satirizes the traitors: "To protect my sentient beings, I must first expel the Japanese Kou; Cihang Pudu, and finally leave the traitors alone." ”

When a puppet government was established in Nanjing in March 1940, Shen Shengsan, director of the Nanjing Municipal Police Department, presented a congratulatory message written by the old man of Linggu in the Linggu Temple: "There was the virtue of the world in the past; now there is a rare talent." Just when Wang Jingwei was very happy to appreciate it, someone found that He Lian implied a harmonic voice and insulted Wang Jingwei: "In the past, he had the virtue of damnation; now he has the talent of a traitor." After Wang Jingwei became the son emperor of Japan, in Chinese New Year's Eve 1941, he proudly posted a couplet on the doorstep of his home, and he shamelessly praised himself as a disciple of Sun Yat-sen: "The grand aspiration of establishing national rights and people's livelihood; opening up the great cause of the party for the country and the people." A wise literati added a few strokes to the union, which became a different irony from the original meaning: "The grand aspiration of establishing the power of the Luo clan; the great cause of opening up the pseudo-party, the pseudo-state, and the pseudo-people." "Passers-by all clapped their hands when they saw it!

The military and the people hate each other

In May 1934, the patriotic general Feng Yuxiang came to Yidu, Shandong. This is the ancient Qingzhou, and there is a Fan Gong Pavilion on both gates of the city, which was built to commemorate the three Governors of Qingzhou in the Song Dynasty, Fan Zhongyan, Fu Bi and Ouyang Xiu. After Feng Yuxiang's tour, he felt that the situation of the strong enemy suppressing the border and the state affairs at that time, and wrote the next link:

The soldier was rich in chest, and even if he taught him to ride and fly, he was also afraid of that fan xiao laozi;

Happy to close the world, may today's people be excited, and all learn from this Mr. Xiucai.

After the "77" Lugou Bridge Incident, the Kuomintang general Xie Guji went from the Qian (Guizhou) border garrison to the anti-Japanese front and served as the colonel of the 152nd Regiment of the 26th Division of the 43rd Army. Before the troops were about to leave, he wrote a family letter and sent it to his mother, "The son has gone to the anti-Japanese front, the ancients are cloudy: if they can be loyal, they cannot fulfill their filial piety, and the child is willing to move filial piety to be loyal, in order to repay the country and the nation", and attached a joint expression of his vow to die to repay the country:

After death, I wish to be a ghost on the battlefield;

He was not a native of his hometown before he was born.

In addition to the anti-Japanese pride of the soldiers, caring for and publicizing the War of Resistance during the War of Resistance has become a part of the daily life of ordinary people.

During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, a tea house was opened in Xi'an Lianhu Park, called "Qiyuan". There is a couplet hanging at the door of the Qiyuan Tea House:

Strange? Not strange, not strange and strange!

Garden? It's a garden, it's a garden, it's a garden!

This couplet, the first word of the upper link is embedded in "Qi", and the first word of the lower link is embedded in "Garden", highlighting the name of the tea house "Qi Garden". This means:

Is it strange? It's not unusual, but you say it's not unusual, it's quite peculiar!

Is it a casino? It's a casino, but you say it's a casino, it's not actually a casino!

Qiyuan Tea House, full of people coming and going all day long. But ordinary people don't know that this strange garden is the secret traffic station of the Chinese Communist Party in Xi'an. Underground workers are constantly carrying out revolutionary work under the eyes of the enemy! It can be seen that in the era when people could not clearly say the truth about "Qiyuan", it was this couplet that vividly revealed the true situation of "Qiyuan".

Cheers for victory overflowed with joy

On August 15, 1945, after Japan's unconditional surrender, the land of China was filled with an atmosphere of ecstasy, and couplets cheering the victory of the War of Resistance Abounded. For example, "Wanli Xiongshi returned to the land; a cup of spring wine washed away the dust." "Singing in the daytime, spring returns to the earth; the yellow dragon drinks bitterly, and restores the mountains and rivers." Wait a minute. A cleverly conceived HeLian appeared on the streets of Chongqing: "Shenzhou tongqing, when the qing should be celebrated; the whole country is crazy, and crazy and crazy and crazy." This joint reads like the sound of celebratory gongs and drums, and is filled with a sense of joy. A certain arsenal in Tongzi, Guizhou, was in the Sozacai Building, and the couplet was refreshing: "Mishima Junchen, Qi surrendered before the atomic bomb; eight years of blood debt, the surrender book can be recovered." ”

One couplet reads:

China, Czech Republic, Japan;

Nanjing, Chongqing, Chengdu.

Literally, this couplet, the upper link is three country names, the lower link is three city names, and its implicit meaning is amazing. Although "Czech" in the upper league is the name of the country, "Jie" and "Ke" are words respectively. "Jie" has the meaning of victory, and "Ke" has the meaning of overcoming and subduing, which is understood in conjunction with the victory of Zhongkuang over Japan. "Chongqing" in the lower link is the name of the city, but "heavy" and "qing" are also words. "Heavy" means re-meaning, and "celebrating" means celebrating. Together, It is Nanjing that celebrates it as the capital city. Nanjing was originally the capital of the Republic of China, and after the Japanese forcibly occupied Nanjing, the Kuomintang was forced to move the capital to Chongqing, and after the victory of the War of Resistance, Nanjing could become the capital again. Here, the rich connotation of Chinese characters has added new meaning to the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan.

In September 1945, the Changsha military community gathered to celebrate the victory of the Anti-Japanese War and to mourn the fallen soldiers of the Anti-Japanese War, including the Joint Day:

Snow hundred years of shame, fu wanli rivers and mountains, Taihan has no such xiong, Song Yuan does not have this strong;

Write the article of the Three Chus, hang the Nine Plains soldiers, weep for the wind and rain, and the grass and trees are sad.

At the beginning, the Japanese invading army burned and plundered in China, was extremely vicious, arrogant, and invincible, but in the end it was punished and ridiculed by history and surrendered unconditionally.

The couplet written by Hunan Taolin Shu master Long Yicai is the most ironic:

Today's Kashinka-Ying Japan;

The Emperor did not bless the Emperor!

The word "sure enough" in the Shanglian regards the victory of the Anti-Japanese War as an expected event, and points out the historical law that the righteous teacher will win and that "those who play with fire will set themselves on fire." The three words "even unless you" are linked down, which fully expresses the satire and ridicule of the invaders. "Dead Japan" means to drive away the invaders of Yukimoto.
