Pippi Movies / A great movie recommendation every day
At the Cannes Film Festival in May 2011, Danish director Ras von Thiel was expelled from the Festival de Cannes for making inappropriate remarks about Hitler.

In the seven years since, his work has only been two parts of 2013's "Female Addicts", and it was not until last year that he was able to return to Cannes.
This time he brought with him a highly controversial film, which was just screened at the film festival and more than half of the audience left the scene, expressing public resistance because it could not stand the violent scenes in the film.
This movie is the recent fan-talked about "This House is Made by Me", the original name "The House That Jack Built" literally translated as "Jack's House", although the "momentum" is relatively weak, but more profound.
It is necessary for us to explain the title of the film, which has three meanings.
"The House That Jack Built" is originally derived from a British nursery rhyme called "This is the house that Jack built", the lyrics are English tongue twisters, at the beginning of each sentence superimposed on the new words in turn, forming longer and longer sentences.
Jack is the male protagonist, the name of a perverted murderer who is also associated with Jack the Ripper, the murderer of the 1888 London serial murders.
At the same time, "Jack" also has the meaning of jacks, and the poorly repaired jacks that appear at the beginning of the film also imply that the male protagonist is incompetent.
The whole story is led by a conversation between Jack and Virgil, and the conversation between the two runs through it.
Virgil is a character from the long poem Divine Comedy by Alighelli Dante, and a famous poet in Italian history, originally named Publius Vegilius Marlowe.
Divided into three parts, Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven, the Divine Comedy recounts a dream that Dante had halfway through his life in which he traveled to Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven to dialogue with famous historical figures in it, reflecting history and culture, and condemning ecclesiastical rule at the time.
Therefore, at the end of the film, Jack and Virgil also came to hell, and there was also a picture of the painting "Dante's Boat" by the French painter Eugène Delacroix, which made Pigo look confused, and it was really difficult to feel the meaning without doing some homework.
Jack was originally an engineer, but he buried another perverted personality in his heart, and he didn't show it until he met a woman who made him extremely unhappy.
The goddess Uma Thurman plays a woman who is self-made, and her car breaks down and the jack on the car is broken, so she turns to Jack for help.
Jack drove the woman to fix her jack and came back to fix her car, but the jack that had just been repaired didn't take a few clicks and broke down, which made Jack extremely unhappy.
Along the way, the woman kept talking about unpleasant things, and Jack, who was already irritable, was completely annoyed by her harsh words again and again.
Jack finally couldn't bear it anymore and killed the woman with a jack.
Jack, who originally suffered from severe obsessive-compulsive disorder, was temporarily relieved after killing, and he felt that he could not do without the pleasure of killing, so he began to look for his next object.
The first person Jack murdered again was an old woman living alone, and Jack took a lot of drooling to trick her into opening the door.
After the killing, because he had a habit of cleanliness, he even risked returning to the scene again and again to check whether he had scrubbed the blood.
After the killing, there will be images of Canadian pianist Glenn Gould playing the piano.
There are also some world-famous paintings that Jack always thinks of, because he regards killing people as an art.
Each killing gives Jack a sense of satisfaction, and his obsessive-compulsive disorder is alleviated.
It feels like a man walking under a street lamp at night, and when he walks directly below a street lamp, his shadow becomes minimal.
And as he continues to move forward, his sense of satisfaction fades like a shadow, and his pain slowly increases as the other shadow behind him slowly grows larger, forcing him to murder the next person, and so on.
He even attacked his wife and children, killing his two sons and wives in the order from childhood to adulthood.
He also placed the corpse on the ground, which seemed very ritualistic, and of course this kind of perverted art can only be understood by psychopaths.
Jack treats each killing as if he were completing a work of art, posing for a picture of the body and sending it to the local newspaper.
He named himself "Mr. Perfect", a name that also caused panic in the local area.
Jack hid the victim's body in his own cold room.
He had considered selling pizza, so he bought the refrigerator and a large number of pizzas, but he didn't sell a single piece.
There was a large room in the cold room, but the door to the other room was always opened.
After killing a lot of people and losing his fun, Jack decided to imitate Hitler.
During World War II, the German Nazis tied many people together and used a bullet to penetrate the victim's head in order to save bullets. Jack wanted to emulate the game, and he caught a few people and tied them side by side with their heads to each other.
However, he found that the bullet he bought was not the all-metal shell material he wanted, and as "Mr. Perfect", he certainly did not allow such flaws to appear.
So he risked exposing his whereabouts to find an all-metal shell bullet, but he killed someone he knew and attracted the police.
After buying the right bullet, Jack tries to solve the problem with a sniper rifle, but finds that the rifle sniper scope cannot focus because it is too close.
He had to pry open the door that had never been opened and enter another room in the cold room.
When he turned on the light, he found a man sitting inside, and that was Virgil who had led him to hell with him.
Jack always wanted to build a house for himself, but after repeated construction, he overthrew his design again and again, and the house was never built.
Eventually, at Virgil's prompting, Jack built a house from the corpses in the cold room.
And this daunting house is Jack's ultimate destination.
Virgil leads Jack into hell through a hole in the house, where he sees a window.
Outside the window was heaven, a sight Jack had always longed for—farmers mowing grass with scythes.
But heaven does not belong to a devil like Jack, and his destination should be hell.
Virgil took Jack to the bottom of Hell, where there was a broken bridge under which lava flowed to the abyss of Hell.
On the other side of the broken bridge is the road to heaven.
Jack thought of climbing the stone wall to the other side of the broken bridge so he could go to heaven.
Virgil advises him that someone has climbed the stone wall before, but they are not Alex Honnold after all, and everyone has fallen into the abyss of hell in the middle of the way.
But Jack still felt that he had to try anyway, so he climbed up the stone wall.
Jack finally lost his hand and fell into the abyss.
Some people say that this implies that all "art" will come to an end, who knows?
The film combines elements of music, painting, comedy, documentary, literature, stage plays and stop-motion animation, and explores the deep questions about the impact of human desires and desires on social development.
During the cannes entry, some experts even praised the film as a rare "work of art".
Returning to the domestic audience, this film Has a Douban score of 7.3 and was rated as the highest-rated "thriller" in 2018, but it can be described as a dark tide when it comes to specific evaluation fans.
Some people like it, and many people say bluntly that "this film makes me feel disgusted", "It is not so much a high-IQ crime, it is better to say that the male protagonist is a pervert"...
Pi Ge did not comment on these claims, but one netizen said it well: this film is either famous in history or left a stink for thousands of years.
In general, this film Pigo looks very laborious, the director inserted a lot of metaphorical shots in the film, to understand the deep meaning and hints behind the shot, I am afraid that I have to brush several times, do more homework to understand.
Finally, Pi Ge friendly reminded that the story and picture of this movie are extremely exciting, and friends who are not mentally prepared must carefully consider whether to watch this film.
