Following the new commander, Major General Bi Yi, the state media recently revealed information on another leader of the Hunan Provincial Military Region.

According to the official WeChat public account of Yueyang City, Hunan Province, "Yueyang National Defense Education," on the morning of 8 June, Chen Bo, deputy commander of the provincial military region, led a working group and his party to Yueyang Lou District to inspect and guide the armed work. Deputy Commander Chen listened attentively to the work report of the Ministry of People's Armed Forces, held talks with the chief officer of the Ministry of People's Armed Forces, learned in detail about the relevant situation, and fully affirmed the achievements made by the Ministry of People's Armed Forces in ideological and political construction, combat readiness training, and safety management.

The pictures distributed by the above official information show that Chen Bo is wearing a deputy military seniority badge and the rank of colonel.

This means that Colonel Chen Bo has assumed the post of deputy commander of the Hunan Provincial Military Region.

It is also worth mentioning that before the disclosure of Chen Bo's new news, hunan local media disclosed in May this year that Major General Bi Yi, former deputy commander of the Army's 78th Group Army, had succeeded Major General Huang Yuejin as commander of the Hunan Provincial Military Region.
