For a long time, Chen Boyu's son did not understand, why did his mother always work overtime and could not accompany him? Until one time, he felt the meaning of busy work at the site of the sub-control center. On the same day, an ambulance carrying a critically ill child entered Yuelu Avenue from the intersection of Changtan West Expressway. The sub-control center and the police car of the traction ambulance worked closely together to open up a "green channel" in the crowded road, and successfully towed the ambulance to the hospital as quickly as possible.
"Mom, if there is no traffic jam on the road without you, the baby in the ambulance will definitely be dangerous." The son's words were plain and warm, which not only soothed Chen Boyu's guilt and regret for her family, but also made her heart to serve the masses more firm.
In 2021, when visiting the orange garden community of the twinning community, Chen Boyu received feedback that the community had imperfect infrastructure, lack of traffic signs and markings, extremely tight parking spaces, and random parking of motor vehicles. Subsequently, she immediately reported the situation and took the initiative to conduct a field survey of the traffic hazard problem and discuss a solution with the community leader. With her help, the community quickly completed the reconstruction work, and she also received unanimous praise from the residents of the community.
"No matter how late today is, it is early tomorrow, and we should do a good job as soon as possible if the masses have needs." Chen Boyu treats the masses with care, and the same is true when enforcing the law. Many times, she found an electric bicycle driver without a helmet on the road, but she did not simply punish it. She will patiently interpret the traffic rules in combination with the traffic signs of the road sections, and point out the harm of related illegal acts according to the traffic accident warning video.
"Being a party member allows me to brave the wind and rain and bravely shoulder heavy burdens."
