Shen Fuxiong pointed out that the US ambassador to Palau also wants to follow the president of Palau to Taiwan, and this way is to twist and turn, and the purpose is to give Taiwan peace of mind. But he felt that this way made Taiwan aggrieved, the United States was also wronged, but Palau had nothing to be wronged, because there are not many embassies in Palau in the world, so the US ambassador to Palau was actually given this new task, to do this "strange diplomacy" with the president of Palau, although it is not unusual, he believes that although the mainland superficially says "against any official relations, but he is secretly happy in his heart."

Shen Fuxiong analyzed that perhaps the mainland will think that "you actually respect the red line I drew," which shows that although the United States is tough in the face of China, it will still abide by it; it can be seen that the United States must turn a big circle before it dares to do these "small things of stealing chickens and touching dogs." Shen Fuxiong said that if this method works, he suggested that when US President Biden visits various countries after the domestic situation is stable, he can take Taiwan's "representative to the United States" Xiao Meiqin as an attaché and take the opportunity to say to various countries, "I express Taiwan's friendship with you on behalf of Tsai Ing-wen." For President Palau's "visit" to Taiwan, the US ambassador to Palau was also a member of the delegation, and Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian previously said that I want to emphasize that the one-China principle is a universally recognized norm for international relations and a universal consensus recognized, accepted and practiced by the vast majority of countries in the world. Adhering to the one-China principle is the aspiration of the people and the trend of the times.

Zhao Lijian stressed: The Taiwan issue is the most important and sensitive issue in Sino-US relations. The one-China principle is the political foundation of Sino-US relations. China firmly opposes any form of official exchanges between the United States and Taiwan, and this position is consistent and clear. We urge the US side to fully understand the high sensitivity of the Taiwan issue, abide by the one-China principle and the stipulations of the three Sino-US joint communiques, stop official exchanges between the United States and Taiwan, refrain from sending any wrong signals to the "Taiwan independence" separatist forces, refrain from trying to break through China's bottom line, and prudently and properly handle Taiwan-related issues so as not to seriously damage Sino-US relations and peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.
