On October 13, under the guidance of the National Anti-Fraud Center and the Anti-Fraud Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Chongyang Elderly Assistance Service Week and the Launching Ceremony of the Blue Vest Elderly Tour Group jointly organized by China News Network and "Blue Vest" were held in Beijing. Focusing on the theme of "Paying Attention to Silver Hair Groups and Bridging the Digital Divide", the participants focused on how to help solve the difficulties of the elderly in using smart technologies such as the Internet through the strength of the whole society in the context of social digitalization encountering the aging of social structure.

It is understood that in March 2020, the "Blue Vest" action was officially launched, and by the end of September 2021, the number of "Blue Vest" volunteers exceeded 14,700, with an average service time of 20 minutes for each elderly person, and a total of more than 200,000 elderly people. Through community lectures, resident service stations, digital life experience points, anti-fraud exhibitions and other forms, the project goes to the elderly and takes the initiative to help them solve some problems in life.
