The Ferrari Enzo (F140) was a mid-engined sports car from 2002 to 2004, named after the company's founder, Enzo Ferrari.

It was developed using Formula 1 technologies such as carbon fibre bodies, F1 automatic shift manual transmissions and ceramic composite disc brakes, as well as technologies not allowed in F1, such as active aerodynamics.

The Enzo generates tremendous downforce through its front bottom flaps, small adjustable rear spoilers and rear diffuser.

Its V12 engine is the first of Ferrari's new generation, with the same construction as the V8 Maserati Quattroporte. It produced a huge 660HP.

Enzo was announced at the 2002 Paris Motor Show, with a limited production of 399 units. Ferrari extends invitations to loyal customers, especially those who have previously purchased the F40 and F50. All 399 vehicles were sold before production began.

Although, according to Ferrari fan Carbon McCoy, a total of 399 Enzos were built.

It is believed that the actual production quantity is 493. Only 8 cars left the factory in silver.
