Dong Bo introduced that Huanggang is north of Dabie Mountain, south of the Yangtze River, located at the junction of the four provinces of Eyu, Anhui and Gansu, with a territory of 17,400 square kilometers and a total population of 7.5 million, known as "China's natural oxygen bar", "the lungs of the central region", "China's drifting valley" and "China's top ten charming cities" and "China's most humanistic value cities".

At the same time, Huanggang has a long history and culture, Dong Bo pointed out that Huanggang has a history of more than 2,000 years of construction, giving birth to more than 1,600 historical and cultural celebrities such as Bi Sheng, inventor of movable type printing, Li Shizhen, a physician of the Ming Dynasty, Li Siguang, a giant of modern geological science, and Wen Yiduo, a patriotic poet; the Huanggang revolutionary tradition is brilliant, and major revolutionary historical events such as the "Jute Uprising", the breakthrough of the New Fourth Army in the Central Plains, and the leap of Liu Deng's army into Dabie Mountain have occurred.

Dong Bo introduced that in 2019, Huanggang received a total of 43 million tourists, achieving a comprehensive tourism income of 30.8 billion yuan, an increase of 19.1% and 21% year-on-year, respectively, and the Huanggang cultural tourism industry achieved growth of about 20% for five consecutive years.
