Soon, the tens of thousands of yuan he brought with him were lost cleanly, so he called his family members in China to transfer money to him. Unable to return to China by smuggling, he chose to surrender himself and returned to China smoothly. After being detained by local police in Yunnan for three days, he was quarantined for another 14 days before returning to Jingzhou.

Obsessed with flipping the book, he has been waiting for the casino to reopen. In August 2020, Zhang took the borrowed money and went to northern Myanmar for four years. This time, good luck still did not come, but it was a series of bad luck, not only losing money, but also car accidents. Although surgery was performed locally, his left foot is still unable to walk normally.

During the period, Zhang sold the gold jewelry and belt he carried with him. Before returning to China for the fourth time, he also sold his only mobile phone of value. In the face of interrogation by the police, Zhang Mou confessed, "Gambling is the source of all evil, and I advise everyone not to get addicted to gambling."
