Li Jian: Ideals on earth, bard

author:Xianyang Marton Audio Co., Ltd

Later, in March 2005, Li Jian released his second solo album "For You", which contained 10 songs including "Longing" and "You Are Like Ever".

But among Li Jian's so many albums, I was most impressed by the release of "Music Pride" in 2009, in fact, in terms of artistry and style reviews of this album, I think it is not the most brilliant compared with Li Jian's other albums. But at that time, I was just hooked on HIFI, and I especially liked to listen to Li Jian's "Hometown Mountains and Rivers", which may also be related to my own study in Hanzhong and my longing for my hometown, while my classmates preferred Li Jian's "In Other Country" during Mizuki's years.

I would have been eager to buy a CD of Li Jian's "Music Pride", but the price on Taobao was scary, and it had to be several thousand, and later I learned that this album was only released for a few thousand copies at that time, and it was sold out quickly, and now it is very rare. Because of this matter, I struggled for a while about whether to play stereo and buy cDs or digital broadcasts in the future, and finally decided to use cd players.

On December 10, 2011, Li Jian released his fifth solo album "Still", which contained 11 songs including "On the Shore of Lake Baikal" and "Back to the Past"; on December 31, he participated in the New Year's Day gala of CCTV and sang the song "Heart Rises bright moon".

We will focus on his third solo collection " Picking Up the Light " , which he launched on September 23, 2013. Featuring 15 songs including "Father" and "If You Can", the entire album incorporates classical music arrangements and is recorded by more than 40 classical musicians. With the concept of "making classical more popular, making popular more classical", Li Jian selected 15 works in his creative process and re-arranged and sung in the form of classical music.

In May of the following year, he was nominated for the Best Album Producer Award and the Best Chinese Album Award at the 25th Taiwan Golden Melody Awards for his album "Picking Up the Light". Among them, Zhao Zhao won the "Best Arranger Award" at the 25th Taiwan Golden Melody Awards with the song "Wind Blowing Wheat Waves".

In the album "Picking Up the Light", Li Jian chose the way of "old songs and new songs". Compared with the cover album Lonely Starry Sky See Song, the album focuses on the arrangement, and the 15 original works are rearranged with classical music elements, and the string quintet of the National Symphony Orchestra and many classical instrumentalists are invited to record. If Li Jian's previous works are won by sound, this time it is the effect of striving for "melody and sound flying together". The arrangement of classical music gives the work another kind of youth. In "The Wind Blows the Wheat Waves", the piano, harp, string quintet, woodwind group and other instruments weave a light and romantic scene, and the melody replaces the wheat wave depicted in the original human voice, which is beautiful. "Lijiang" is mainly piano, but this arrangement is more layered, and Li Jian's singing voice adds a tranquility. After the adaptation, "Father", exuding the lyrical charm of piano and strings, "I finally understand, years after you are gone. I'm so proud when I talk about you", expressing the natural play of emotion when it comes to thick.

Classical arrangements not only dilute the taste of previous rock tracks, but also add a different kind of power. The song "Yearning" is a cello monologue, and "For You" is a standout of the piano, and the rock and roll style is transformed into a "academic" positive theme. For the folk style, the arrangement retains the original sound, just like the soundtrack of the movie, adding a story color. In the song "A Lover with a Deep Love", the piano and strings pour emotion into the chorus part, so that this feeling continues to sublimate. "This Life and This World Is Out of Reach" uses cello comparisons in the chorus, which is enough to withstand the vocals of Lala, so that the thoughts and love cannot be dissipated. "Fuxian Lake" and "Foreigner" are also songs that complement the sound and melody.

It is worth noting that during the production of this album, Li Jian collaborated with Zhao Zhao and guitarist Li Ai on the song "Stranger". Subsequently, Li Ai died of illness, and the song became his farewell work. The song records Li Ai's difficult breathing due to illness, and although the technique can be corrected, Li Jian decides to retain these breaths to commemorate the friendship between them.

Now Li Jian can be the 2nd champion mentor of "The Voice of China", or a tall fitness coach in Weibo, and he has his own world tour, and he has participated in many national public welfare activities, such as "Lake Baikal", which is the song he sang at the press conference when he was the "image ambassador of the Russian Tourism Year".

He also served as a national reading ambassador, talking with official representatives about the current situation and future of music copyright in China and promoting the development of music copyright at the music copyright event hosted by Xinhua News Agency.

Dialogues with writer Liang Wendao and Bayan accordionist Wu Qiong on bayan accordion and Latin American literature. He also dedicated his specially adapted song "Mountain Song Is Like Spring River Water" to the Ping An Three Villages Project of China as a promotional song. In the 2020 National "Bird Love Week" theme publicity activities, as a public welfare ambassador for the protection of wild animals in China, he also spoke for the protection of migratory birds.

Li Jian's music is always reminiscent of pictures about the passage of time, and in his bones, he is a praiser of time and, fortunately, is also being treated tenderly by time.

He is quiet and ethereal, his singing is free, his appearance is like a breeze, and his music is not about being heard by others, but about his quiet, sincere, soft-spoken self-communication.

Ethereal, long-distance, the pursuit of simplicity, pure, calm, never tearing the heart and lungs, only with the true heart to accommodate the most simple feelings.

His works actually contain a lot of metaphors and innuendos, and some even talk about serious social issues, but these things are isolated from "beauty" and refracted with an opposite. Such a person whose song is like his person is a real poet and singer.
