At an altitude of 3650 meters above sea level in the middle of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, stands the sunlight city of Lhasa, and the Tibetans who have lived in this land for generations have advocated kindness and bravery, calling the warriors "Batulu".
In 1972, Zhou Minghe was buried in the snow of Lhasa. For more than 40 years, Zhou Minghe, known as "Batulu" by local Tibetans, has been guarding the borderlands of the motherland.

Zhou Minghe was a young man from Nanchong County, Sichuan Province, who aspired to study medicine from an early age to save lives and help the injured, and joined the military camp at the age of less than 20, becoming a military doctor, stationed in the 7937 unit in Lhasa.
He took deep root in the army and worked hard to absorb knowledge, "When he first went to Lhasa, he was very unaccustomed to the plateau climate, vomiting and diarrhea, headaches and palpitations were commonplace, not to mention high-intensity training every day." These hardships were all said by Zhou Minghe and his wife Yong Jinghui after marriage.
However, Zhou Minghe was bent on serving the motherland, and his efforts and excellence were seen by his superiors and comrades-in-arms, so he had the opportunity to be recommended and promoted to become an officer.

After becoming a military doctor, he worked harder to study medical knowledge. At the first scene of the soldier's injury, Zhou Minghe always arrived in time to diagnose and treat him. In addition, as a military doctor for the Tibet Aid Force, he is also responsible for providing medical services to Tibetans.
"At that time, the road was not easy to walk, so he took a car from Lhasa back to Nanchong and walked one way for about a week." Zhou Minghe was too young when he left home, but his parents remembered his family and wrote letters urging him to go home and get married.
Zhou Minghe stayed at home for a while, respecting his wife as a guest and serving in front of his parents. But after all, he was in the military, and he had to say goodbye to his wife and parents in a hurry during his new marriage. Before leaving home, he promised to come back to visit everyone, who knew that this would be the last of his and his family's side.

It was 1972, when the weather turned cold, and Zhou Minghe was involved in the blasting operation of the troops, and was unfortunately injured while rescuing a soldier. It is difficult for the doctor to treat himself, not to mention that he is concerned about other injured people, so he has been working on the scene for several days with injuries.
When the day finally came to rest, Zhou Minghe scrubbed his body and received an emergency message. "A Tibetan on the other side of the mountain suddenly fell ill, and when he heard that someone else was sick, he hurriedly put on his clothes and picked up the medical kit and left, not caring about his own injuries. He always said that it was a small thing. Speaking of this, Yong Jinghui's eyes were red.

At this time, there was a little snow in the sky, but the anxious Zhou Minghe couldn't take care of too much, and rushed to the Tibetan people's house to diagnose and treat him. After controlling the patient's condition, he prescribed the medicine for the next few days and quit.
Coming out of Tibetan homes, Lhasa was already covered in heavy snow. Zhou Minghe felt that he was unwell, so he begged passers-by to contact the unit. Zhou Minghe, who was physically exhausted, lay on his back on the snow and gradually lost his breath. "The troops sent helicopters to look for him at that time, but by that time the snow had already closed the mountain, and the helicopters could not land at all."
At the time of Zhou Minghe's sacrifice, his wife was already pregnant. "My daughter never saw him, but I told her when she was sensible that your father was a hero who sacrificed to build the motherland and support Tibet."

After Zhou Minghe's sacrifice, the original troops knew that his wife was pregnant at the time and it was inconvenient to inform him, so they sent a letter to Zhou Minghe's uncle and sent him a martyr's certificate and relics and a list.
After Yong Jinghui successfully gave birth to her daughter, the family informed zhou Ming and the news of his death. She was stunned on the spot and watched her daughter in her arms cry bitterly.

In 1974, Yong Jinghui took her daughter, who was under the age of one, to unit 7937, where her husband was. The mother and daughter finally arrived in Lhasa after a week of shaky cars. The daughter was too young and fell ill when she first arrived in Lhasa.
Yong Jinghui paid homage to him at Zhou Minghe's burial place, and his daughter also stayed in the army to recuperate for more than two months before the mother and daughter returned to Sichuan.
"After returning to Sichuan, I lived alone with my daughter, and the local government was very concerned about our martyrs, and later I met my current husband and started a family with him." Yong Jinghui sighed about her life over the years.
Fortunately, the current husband treats him very well and regards his daughter as his own, "I know that he (Zhou Minghe) will love his daughter as much as he loves the motherland, and it will be very gratifying to see his daughter's posture now." Yong Jinghui is now old, and some of the past has been blurred, but when he talks about Zhou Minghe again, his eyes are still wet.

Zhou Minghe's various supporting documents and photos after his death that year are still well kept by his wife. Nor will Tibetans forget this military doctor, Baturu.
In December 2019, the Lhasa Martyrs' Cemetery in the Tibet Autonomous Region cooperated with the headline "Looking for The Descendants of Martyrs" public welfare project to find relatives for martyrs in the cemetery who have not yet contacted their relatives and have names and places of origin.
On June 22, 2020, the headline search platform released a notice to find Zhou Ming and the descendants of the martyrs, and relied on platform technology to push the notice to his hometown of Nanchong.
Zhou Minghe's son-in-law, Mr. Ma, usually likes to browse the news and the like in today's headlines, one day in September, his mobile phone received a pop-up window, vaguely remembering that his wife's biological father died in Lhasa, he took the news to his mother-in-law to see, who knew that the mother-in-law had wet eyes after reading it.
"Some people still remember him, then he didn't sacrifice in vain, he was a hero, he can't be forgotten!" Yong Jinghui said.
To commemorate the exploits of the martyrs, comfort the heroic souls of the martyrs, inherit the red gene, and tell the red story well; the headline search launched the "Search for the Descendants of the Martyrs" project, and cooperated with the Chahar Martyrs Cemetery in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province to "find the descendants of the martyrs".
