"I feel like the Russian Air Force aerobatic pilots who flew brilliantly at the Zhuhai International Air Show, especially the 45-degree ramp circling and instantaneous stall are tense and heart-racing, and I can actually control the plane in the air." This is the first feeling of excitement for Li Jing, a young female flight experiencer who has just stepped down from the co-pilot position of a four-seat twin-haired white small plane. On March 20, the weather was sunny and it was a good weather that was particularly suitable for flying, and the reporter saw more than a dozen enthusiasts waiting to fly on the tarmac of the general airport of Faku Cai Lake, all of whom were members of a company called the Star Gaze Flight Club, and after the rigorous theoretical training and flight training in the early stage, they could finally conduct a 20-minute actual flight experience in the air under the leadership of the captain.
During the interview, the reporter met Song Yuanqi, the initiator of the Star Overlook Flying Club. Song Yuanqi has loved to play photography and equestrianism since he was a child, and has also won places in several national amateur fencing competitions. In 2015, china's Civil Aviation Administration announced the gradual opening of low-altitude airspace, and Song Yuanqi also devoted himself to the general aviation industry from a media editor who has been in the industry for ten years, so he established the first flying club in the northeast region that can really make people fly in the sky. It is understood that in China, Beijing, Shanghai, Zhuhai and Xi'an have also established several flying clubs in the past two years, and as of now, there are only ten clubs that have truly "flown" in the country.
According to Song Yuanqi, more than 130 members of the club have experienced flying at least once, ranging in age from 22 to their fifties, mostly doctors, lawyers, media people, businessmen, individual owners, sports stars, etc., with a male-female ratio of about 7:3. After theoretical and practical training and initial flight experience, they tend to develop in two directions: continue to experience and learn to fly, and eventually obtain a pilot's license; turn this hobby into a vocational skill to find employment in aviation schools or other civil aviation agencies.
When the reporter asked Song Yuanqi about his motivation and future plans for opening a flying club, he said that he wanted to make his flying club a flying science base and let more teenagers join in. Because flying itself is a complex multidisciplinary sports program, it still has many benefits for cultivating people with a high degree of concentration and professionalism. The initiator of the Flying Club is Song Yuanqi.
