"Happy birthday to you!" On September 19, security personnel were conducting security checks on passengers at the No. 9 travel inspection channel of Terminal 2 of Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. This is a brand channel named after "Wu Na".
"When checking the documents, keep in mind that the day of boarding happens to be the passenger's birthday, and I will say 'Happy birthday to you'. When travelers hear such words, they will feel warm inside. Wu Na said that in her work, she likes to pay attention to details and create some small methods.
Wu Na issued birthday cards to passengers who had their birthdays on the same day.
As a grassroots worker at the airport, Wu Na boiled down her work attitude to two "love" words, namely "true love every moment" and "love every guest".
In addition to birthday wishes, she often uses the "boarding pass folding" method - when the security personnel verify the boarding pass, the blue mimeograph left by the seal will often stain the passenger's ID card, noticing this problem, Wu Na folded the boarding pass to avoid the side of the seal touching the passenger's hand, "In fact, more empathy can make the passenger more comfortable."
Wu Na, born in 1988, has been working in the security inspection work for 11 years. She has won many honors such as "National Model Worker", "National May Day Labor Medal", "Shanghai May Day Labor Medal", "Shanghai Airport Group Corporation Top Ten Service Stars for the World Expo", and was elected as a representative of the 17th Youth League Congress of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League in 2013. In 2017, she was honorably elected as a delegate to the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
"When I first came, the Anjie group was already an advanced team at Hongqiao Airport, and I was fortunate to come to such an advanced team after graduating from school, and I have not left for 11 years and grown together." Wu Na said that she had also been confused. "Safety and service, at first I felt a bit contradictory, because when we went to check, we would inevitably encounter irregularities, and passengers always felt that we were embarrassed by them, so they would 'intercede' and ask if they could accommodate."
For example, she said, at the beginning of the release of civil aviation regulations on the carrying of liquids, the awareness was not high, many passengers did not understand, and emotions were inevitable when they were inspected. "Initially, we encountered situations that exceeded the regulations, usually only telling passengers not to carry, but did not provide a method. Later, we continued to sum up the experience, encountered things that could not be brought, and provided some other ways for passengers. In this way, the other party will also be more cooperative with our work. ”

At present, Wu Na's detachment currently has a total of 64 people, most of whom are "post-90s" young people. The detachment implements a shift system, generally night shifts from 12 noon to the end of the evening flight, day shifts from 5 am to noon, and when the weather is bad, it is necessary to work all night.
"Nowadays, more and more passengers are traveling by plane, and the security requirements are increasing year by year, and the requirements for themselves must also be increased accordingly." Wu Na frankly said that the security inspection work is intense and the working hours are longer, in order to make the young colleagues in the detachment adapt to work faster, she will take the initiative to share her own experience and understand their growth plans and ideas.
"Don't give up learning, this is not only a requirement for work, but also a requirement for your own life." She often encourages her colleagues to participate in security skills competitions. She said that it was she who participated in the skill competition many times, and the enthusiasm for the competition slowly turned into the pursuit of work ability.
