The border line of the Luzhang section is 19.8 kilometers long, all in the Gaoligong Mountain Range. There is such a group of border guards, who always stick to the border line of the motherland, accompany the glory during the day, accompany the stars at night, and stick to the depths of the mountains all year round, measuring the border of the motherland with their feet.

At about 5:00 a.m. on October 21, the alarm bell of Li Shouting, the captain of the border management brigade of the Lushui City Public Security Bureau, rang, and after washing, he went downstairs to assemble a team from Lushui City to Gaoligong Mountain.

After a two-hour drive, a 13-person patrol consisting of the Lushui Border Management Brigade, the Luzhao Border Police Station and the Sanhe Village Border Guards assembled.

At about 7 o'clock, after a simple breakfast, Li Shouting made a mobilization ceremony: "Comrades, today we police and people join hands to patrol the border and defend our beautiful homeland, and we will cross the primeval forest, which will be a huge challenge to our body and physical fitness. The entire patrol responded in a sonorous and powerful voice: "Yes! ”

When the patrol team first set off from the wind and snow Yakou section, the sky began to rain heavily, which brought great challenges to the already arduous patrol task, and it is conceivable how difficult the road is, but no one has stopped moving forward.

At about 9 o'clock, the patrol reached the peak, the beauty of the summit was breathtaking, but the patrol members did not have time to enjoy the scenery in front of them, and immediately set off after a short rest, continuing along the path, the narrower the road became, the larger the slope, sometimes needed to climb up with their hands and feet and little by little, the most difficult thing to walk was still a large rock, the cliffs blocked the patrol's place, needed to climb up one by one, and then used the rope to put down to let the members below climb up.

At about 17:00, after 9 hours of unremitting efforts, the patrol team finally arrived at The No. 10 boundary monument standing on the border line between China and Myanmar, and the members stood neatly in front of the boundary pillar and solemnly swore an oath to the party flag: "I volunteer to join the Communist Party of China and am willing to fight for communism for life..." After taking the oath, the patrol members took out the bread, sausages, and compressed biscuits in their backpacks, and after a simple lunch, they began the road down the mountain.

Just as the so-called "going up the mountain is easy to go down the mountain is difficult", going up the mountain is a challenge to physical fitness, and going down the mountain is a great challenge to willpower, the downhill road is more than 25 kilometers long, from the mountain range of more than 3200 meters above sea level down the creek to the valley at an altitude of about 1000 meters.

Due to the long-term humidity of the primeval forest, the road is covered with moss, and if you are not careful, you will fall to the ground. There is a lot of rain in the mountains, the mountain road is rugged, the road surface is wet and muddy, after a day of inspection, everyone's body is wet with rain, the police uniform has long been soaked, the soles of the shoes are also worn, but the patrol members are still not afraid of hardships, do not say a word, continue to patrol the side of the inspection work.

At about 20 o'clock, the sky was completely dark, the patrol team turned on a flashlight, and a series of lights illuminated the way forward, and a police officer at the Luzhang Border Police Station said: "Why do you have to go so hard, this road should not be dared to go." Director Ou Guanghai immediately replied: "This is our duty, but also the responsibility of an immigration management policeman, since we have chosen this dress, we must always stick to the depths of the mountains and guard the border security, which is an unshirkable responsibility and responsibility."

At 1:00 a.m. the next day, the patrol members with serious physical exertion were getting more and more arduous, no matter how the patrol team walked, they always wandered around the mountainside, at this time they had been patrolling for more than 18 hours, some of the team members' physical fitness had reached their limit, coupled with the lack of materials and the sudden drop in temperature, they could only move forward at a snail-like speed, one step or two steps, step by step, step by step... But no one dragged their feet, and they all supported the way forward with the faith in their hearts.

At 5:00 a.m. the next day, the patrol team finally reached the valley after a 24-hour hike over Gaoligong Mountain, and the patrol distance has reached more than 43 kilometers.

Year after year, again and again, they cut through thorns and thorns in this tall Gaoligong Mountain, and we may not know their names, but they are always guarding the peace of the people on the southwestern border of the motherland.
