P: Hello Teacher Hu Xia, recently chased the 3rd season of "Our Song" on Oriental Satellite TV, and in the second period, you and Mr. Lin Zixiang sang the S+ difficult high-pitched song "Digital Life" on the spot and won the championship, is it a big challenge for you since you became a singer?
Hu Xia: It's really a big challenge. The song "Digital Life" is a classic masterpiece of Teacher Lin Zixiang, and it is also well known to be difficult to sing, the high pitch is very high, and you have to use Cantonese to remember a series of numbers, and finally accelerate, it is more difficult for me, Cantonese I am also learning now, in order to remember the lyrics, I may have copied it more than ten times by hand, and I am reciting it anytime and anywhere. When the performance was really exhausted, after looking at everyone's comments, they all said that I sang the pain mask came out, and some rap songs almost sent me away haha, but fortunately, whether the audience or Lin Zixiang teacher, I think this cooperation is relatively successful, and I am very grateful to everyone for their liking for our combination.
P: How does it feel to work with Mr. Lin Zixiang?
Hu Xia: Teacher Lin Zixiang himself is a big senior, whether it is from the singing strength, stage performance is particularly strong, to be able to cooperate with him on the stage, it is not only my honor, but also let me have a lot of pressure. And because we are the largest age difference in all the combinations, about 40 years old haha, I will start to worry about how to cooperate with Teacher Lin, but after getting along, I found that Teacher Lin has a very cute personality in private. He has very few words, and many times he will listen to me, and when he talks about music and cooperation stage, he will also give very professional advice. Because the songs are sung by Mr. Lin, his songs are difficult to sing, and I am a novice in Cantonese, he will tell me very patiently how this part should be, and how to sing that tone better. During this period of cooperation with Mr. Lin, I learned a lot from him, and when I saw how he looked on the stage, I would also think about whether I would stand on the stage and sing like him when I was 70 years old. I admire Teacher Lin very much, and I will often be touched by him.
P: At the age of 19, he participated in the "Walk of Fame" competition and won the championship, and then sang the theme song "Those Years" for the movie "Those Years, the Girl We Chased Together", which was popular across the Taiwan Straits and three places, those years were your highlight moments, what kind of impact did this experience have on your life? What is the state of mind when it comes to glory?
Hu Xia: At that time, I was quite young, and the most obvious change was that after winning the championship, I had less time, and there would be many arrangements every day. "Those Years" when the fire I actually did not know at first, when the recording of this song after a long time almost forgot, until one time to perform, singing this song scene everyone is in a chorus, I was particularly impressed, and then "Those Years" and the movie won a lot of awards, I went to a lot of awards, only to realize that this song is on fire. I think the impact on my life is that I have changed from a person who loves to sing, to a real singer, my hobby has become my job, I can go to many places, sing on various stages, I feel very lucky, I also cherish this luck, I hope to be able to sing to everyone all the time.
P: Over the years, you have sung a lot of OST of popular film and television dramas, and everyone will think, oh, Hu Xia is a singer who specializes in singing OST, you may ignore the records you have made, so far, you have released several albums?
Hu Xia: I have released 5 personal albums, the album's songs add up to about fifty or sixty songs, I have sung OST, before I saw that some fans helped me count, there are more than 80 songs, haha.
I think that whether it is singing the songs of my own albums, or singing OST, I am using music to convey something, and being able to have so many film and television works to find me to sing OST is also an affirmation of the emotional interpretation of my singing, of course, I also hope that if you can know me through OST and like my singing, you can listen to my album haha... My 6th solo album is also in the works, and I hope you will pay more attention to it when the time comes!
P: What is the special design for the upcoming 6th album? What attitudes in life will you convey?
Hu Xia: When I first started to prepare for this album, it was I who participated in "Brother Chasing the Light", because there were a lot of new attempts in the show, such as dance music and Rap, so I wanted to play on my own in the new album, and I was constantly trying. I hope to see you something different about me.
P: Is the recording industry in a downward trend now? What are the reasons why you'll keep coming up with the album?
Hu Xia: I don't really think that the record industry is going down now, on the contrary, there are more and more excellent musicians. And I think as a singer, music is the most important, as a singer, you have to have songs to sing, whether it is an album, a single, or AN OST, it is your work, and the album is a form of music collection, which can make a singer more complete to express your attitude and emotions. I think every singer is longing for a stage, like "Brother Chasing The Light" and "Our Song", because it has a stage, so I feel that I should cherish the opportunity to sing like this.

P: Last year, in the variety show "Chasing The Light Brother", you finally got the second place, after participating in the "Chasing The Light Brother", what do you think you gained?
Hu Xia: I have gained a more multifaceted self. At that time, I decided to participate in the show "Brother Chasing The Light", thinking that I was 30 years old, whether I could try and change more, and indeed tried a lot of things that I had never thought of before. For example, taking off my glasses on stage, dancing, Rap, wet body performance, these may not be much for many people, but for me, it is a challenge for me to jump out of the comfort zone, and I am also grateful for this experience, which has brought me a lot of different stage memories.
P: Over the years, you have been making music, going on variety shows, participating in e-sports program competitions, how do you understand the two words of "cross-border" and "non-specific"?
Hu Xia: First of all, "single-mindedness" does not mean that you can only do one thing, but what you should focus on when you are doing something. When I sing on stage, I focus on singing; when I participate in e-sports competitions, I should focus on my operation; when I go on variety shows, I should focus on my performance on the show. This is not contradictory to me being a singer, and I think it would be a good thing if I could let more people know me and hear my music through ways other than singing. So I'm happy to try crossovers and keep focusing on making music well.
P: Life often has such stages, we who try our best to get a little bit, and suddenly one day we seem to get a lot effortlessly. How do you see gains and losses yourself?
Hu Xia: I often hear people say that I am a relatively Buddhist artist, and I think this Buddhist system does not mean that I don't do it and wait for God to give it to me, but that I have worked hard to do it, and as for whether I can get it or not, it may not be something I can decide. The same is true of gain and loss, I can only ask myself to do my best, as for getting more or less, at least I can be worthy of myself.

Hu Xia: Recently recorded an e-sports show in "cross-border", was abused by young people haha, has disappeared in the game of "King" for four years, this time to return in the state of a game, not only a sense of freshness, because e-sports is actually a kind of sportsmanship, need the soul of the group, need you to sacrifice for responsibility and responsibility, these are what I want to feel in this show.
P: Everyone only knows that Hu Xia is the big devil of film and television OST, but few people know that Hu Xia is still an e-sports expert, when did you start to be fascinated by e-sports?
Hu Xia: Boys, most of them probably like to play games since they were young, and I am the same. Over the years, e-sports has become a profession, and with events, I will actually pay more attention to them, including the competitions of these professional players, which I have to understand. In fact, it can't be said to be a "fan", usually e-sports is a way to decompress and relax for me.
P: Which position do you usually play? Who is your true hero? Which team do you like? Which player do you like?
Hu Xia: I generally play the development road and the confrontation road. The hero of the life is Marco Polo, recently a little less confident, within four years this game has changed too much, may have to practice again haha! The team is very fond of it, and the favorite player is the cat god!
P: Which circle do you play with the king's partner or friend, the electric circle or the showbiz circle? Which circle do you often team up with?
Hu Xia: Usually I will work with professional e-sports players, recently recorded an e-sports show, artist friends and e-sports players often team up to play, as for who they are with, wait for the show to broadcast you will know haha.
P: What is the difference between playing on stage and playing at home?
Hu Xia: That's a big difference, home is more relaxed, more like practicing or decompression after work, entertaining yourself. There are teammates and spectators on stage, and they will be more cautious and serious, and they will fight with the goal of winning.
P: Without work, the most ordinary day, how did the Buddhist youth Hu Xia spend it?
Hu Xia: Spending time in the style of otaku, staying at home to arrange yourself full: basking in the sun, watching dramas, playing games, fitness, the latest movies will not be missed.
