The lecture attracted more than 95 people to participate, and everyone said that they benefited a lot from listening to the lecture, and the content of Professor Yang's lecture was in-depth and simple, with technical, practical, instructive and practical.
After the training, Professor Yang had a face-to-face exchange with the orange farmers. Orange farmers mainly consulted on the serious frost damage of citrus last year, the obvious reduction in production, and how to protect it. Professor Yang patiently explained, answered the questions of orange farmers one by one, put forward such as choosing a frost-avoiding area to build a garden, avoiding small basins in the mountains, and doing a good job in the work before the arrival of low temperatures, such as whitening, soil cultivation, grass covering, smoke and frost prevention at night, etc. Then in view of the occurrence of more serious citrus rotten foot disease, fruit-sucking moth and other diseases and insect pests, the effective control methods were described in detail.
At the same time, Ying Dongqin, the instructor in the village, also had a cordial exchange with the orange farmers, understood their thoughts and needs, and actively helped. The training meeting was strongly supported and cooperated by the cadres and village committees of Nancheng Subdistrict, and Taizhou Vocational College of Science and Technology also provided agricultural aid materials for the orange farmers attending the meeting, and helped agricultural production with practical actions.
