On October 27th, the 9th Liaoning Regional Social Issues Research Forum was held in the lecture hall of the library of our university. The forum brought together experts and scholars in the province to discuss the imbalance of grass-roots social governance in our province and jointly promote the innovative research of grass-roots social governance in our province.
The forum is one of the series of special academic activities in the 2021 Liaoning Provincial Social Science Academic Activity Month, jointly sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Party Committee, the Department of Education of Liaoning Province, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Liaoning Province, the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Liaoning Provincial Federation of Social Sciences, and hosted by the Liaoning Provincial Social Governance and Legal Construction Research Base and the Law School of Shenyang Institute of Technology. Li Qing, first-level inspector of the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Liaoning Province, Guo Changqing, director of the Social and Legal Affairs Committee of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Yang Luping, former secretary of the party group and vice chairman of the Liaoning Provincial Federation of Social Sciences, Song Huanbin, secretary of the party committee of our school, Song Jixin, vice president, Cao Fuyi, deputy director of the Science and Technology Department, and Sun Chao of the Teacher Work Department/Teacher Development Center of the Party Committee attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Song Jixin.
Song Huanbin delivered an opening speech on behalf of the school, thanked the organizers for their support and help in the development and construction of our school base over the years, introduced the achievements of the research base, and hoped to improve the transformation efficiency of research achievements through this forum and effectively contribute to the revitalization and development of our province.
On behalf of the organizers, Li Qingxing affirmed the contribution of the research base of our university to the development of social science research in Liaoning Province. He hoped that the research base would carry out research around the overall situation of serving the work of the provincial party committee and the provincial government, continue to carry forward the spirit of hard work, pioneer and innovate, and help the province to revitalize in an all-round way.
The theme of the forum was "Celebrating the Centenary Glory of the Founding of the Party and Seeking Innovation in Social Governance", and nearly 200 teachers and students of the Law School of our university participated in the activity. The forum was presided over by Guo Yi, dean of the Law School of our university. Guo Changqing made a special report entitled "Effectively Improving the Efficiency of Grassroots Social Governance", he pointed out that grassroots social governance should focus on community governance innovation, combine with the modernization of urban social governance, further strengthen the leadership of party building, promote grid management, provide precision services, promote intelligent governance, create a shared platform, adhere to the combination of rule of law and rule by virtue, and create a good social atmosphere. Dr. Zhang Mengqi made a report entitled "Research on the Imbalance of Grassroots Social Governance in the New Development Stage and Countermeasures", which analyzed the imbalance of grassroots social governance in our province.
In the forum exchange session, four doctoral teachers of the Law School, Liu Yan, Zheng Ping, Ma Zhe and Chen Yang, shared and exchanged views on urban governance, bankruptcy trial, industrial chain and small and medium-sized enterprise exhibition and social psychological service system construction, experts and teachers and students present.
This forum focused on the grass-roots social governance in our province, effectively promoted the development of the regional social governance research academic community in Liaoning Province, and made contributions to improving the grass-roots social governance system in Liaoning.
