Synopsis

Five-year-old Sosuke lives with his mother, Risha, on a cliff in a small village by the sea. As a captain, his father went to sea for many years, leaving Sosuke and his mother to live together. Therefore, the five-year-old Sosuke has been over-aged and sensible since he was a child, and he also knows that he must take on the responsibility of the family and take care of his mother instead of his father. One day, while playing on a rocky beach under a cliff, he retrieves a mermaid with her head trapped in a glass bottle, and Sosuke rescues her and raises her in a green plastic bucket.
Bo Andyo and Sosuke are fascinated by each other. Sosuke said to Bo, "Don't worry, I will protect you and take good care of you." But Poyo's father, the magician Fujimoto, forced Po Yo to follow him back into the sea. Po Yoo resolutely refuses and begins to make a big fuss, she has made up her mind to turn into a human little girl and return to Sosuke's side, so Po Yoo actually decides to run away from home. Just before she left home, Po Niu poured her father's most cherished "water of life" into the sea. This move caused great turmoil, the sea level began to rise rapidly, and the sisters of Bo Yu turned into huge fish-shaped waves and engulfed the town where Sosuke lived, and almost affected the home on the cliff of Sosuke.
