On October 29, the funeral ceremony of the unknown martyrs was solemnly held at the Woyang County Martyrs' Cemetery, and 96 unknown martyrs who died in the Battle of Huaihai moved into their "new homes".

It has been learned that in order to facilitate the treatment of the wounded, there were many rear hospitals in Madian Ji Town, Qingyan Town, Longshan Town, and other places in Woyang County, and the 78 unknown martyrs who died in Daluo Village of Madian Ji Town and 18 unknown martyrs who died in Weiwei Village of Qingyan Town were buried this time.

At the burial ceremony, all the personnel sang the "National Anthem of the People's Republic of China", presented flower baskets to the martyrs, bowed to the unknown martyrs in silence, expressed their deep remembrance and infinite mourning for the revolutionary martyrs, and buried the remains of the martyrs. After the ceremony, all the personnel also visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Memorial Hall of revolutionary martyrs.
