Starship Paratrooper is a highly controversial novel, considered a masterpiece of conservative utopia, its depiction of the human-worm war is considered a Cold War mentality, and its so-called acquisition of citizenship also challenges the universal values of natural human rights.
Although the film downplays these politically charged key points in order to deliver an excellent visual feast, it is still influenced by the novel, and the word of mouth at the time is polarized.
"Galaxy Team" was originally going to open a new IP, but because the box office was not as expected and was not released in China, it lost a large ticket warehouse, resulting in a sequel difficult to produce.
Later, in 1999, a roughly drawn 40-episode cartoon, Tough Guy Force: Chronicles of the Galactic Squad, was released.
In 2004, Galaxy Squad 2: Federation Heroes was released, but unfortunately this sequel was reduced to a small-budget horror film that was not released and directly released on DVD.
