In 2014, I joined a tour group and traveled to Korea.
At that time, "The Great Changjin", "The Man of Queen Renxian", "The Moon Embracing the Sun"... Taking turns on TV filled me with fantasies about Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Gyeongbokgung Palace, the equivalent of our National Palace, is located in the heart of bustling Seoul and has a history of 600 years. The word "Jingfu" gets its name from a sentence in the Book of Poetry, "Ten Thousand Years of Gentlemen, Jie'er Jingfu".

It is worth mentioning that the Power Center of South Korea, the Blue House, faces Gyeongbokgung Palace, backed by The North Prison Mountain and Inwang Mountain. The winding path stretches from Gyeongbokgung Palace to the Blue House.
Compared with the great powers of my Heavenly Dynasty, whether it is the Blue House or the Gyeongbokgung Palace, they are just "small family jasper". And in fact, it is exactly that -
During the Ming Dynasty, Korea was a Chinese vassal state. The palace it built must comply with the regulations of the Ming Dynasty at that time. Therefore, Li Chenggui's royal palace is equivalent to the Chinese royal palace - Gyeongbokgung Palace does not have the golden tiles of the Forbidden City, but uses dark tiles. The design of Gyeongbokgung Palace also refers to the design of the Forbidden City in Nanjing at that time, and was completed in 1396. You must know that at that time, the Forbidden City in Beijing did not exist.
In Gyeongbokgung Palace, Chinese characters and Ming buildings can be seen everywhere, and in a trance, you will think that you are back in my heavenly dynasty. Many of the people who have traveled with them have been to the Forbidden City and seen the royal style. When you come here, you should only visit the homes of large families.
The tour guide explained that during the Japanese colonial period, wokou demolished many buildings, otherwise Gyeongbokgung Palace would have been larger.
Gyeongbokgung Palace is a cultural attraction, so let's talk about historical stories.
In the 10th century, Goryeo replaced the previous Silla Kingdom and established it. During the Yuan Dynasty in China, Goryeo submitted to the Yuan Dynasty, and the Yuan Dynasty incorporated Goryeo into the province of Zhengdong. In order to control Goryeo, from the time of The Yuan Dynasty to the end of the Yuan Dynasty, the Emperor of the Yuan Dynasty married seven princesses to the King of Goryeo. Through the unremitting efforts of the Yuan Dynasty, three generations of Goryeo kings have become relatives of the Yuan Dynasty. Because of this, in the early days of the Ming Dynasty, Goryeo was still dependent on the Mongols who had been expelled from the Central Plains by Zhu Yuanzhang. After all, people are relatives—
After zhu Yuanzhang established the Ming Dynasty, he immediately sent envoys to Goryeo to inform him of the name of the country, hoping to establish a clan relationship with Goryeo. Facts have proved that in the face of interests, what kind of kinship? It doesn't work.
The king of Goryeo immediately severed his ties with the Yuan Dynasty and threw himself into the arms of Daming. However, in Goryeo, the pro-Ming and pro-Yuan factions began to struggle, and the fight lasted for ten years.
After the death of the old Goryeo king, the new goryeo king took the throne, and he was a pro-Yuan faction. At this time, the Ming envoys working in Goryeo were killed. Zhu Yuanzhang, of course, was not easy to provoke, and he was furious and refused to recognize the new King of Goryeo. The new King of Goryeo had no choice but to cling to the Mongols.
At this point, the Ming Dynasty and Goryeo broke up, and the two sides were tense.
In the twentieth year of Hongwu, Feng Sheng and Lan Yu defeated the 200,000 Yuan army, controlled Liaodong, set up Tieling Weidu to command the envoys, and controlled Tieling. Tieling was the border between the Yuan Dynasty and Goryeo during the Yuan Dynasty, and the young King of Goryeo did not know what to think, so he actually went to Zhu Yuanzhang to ask for the land of Tieling. Zhu Yuanzhang is a cruel person who is not even willing to pay more wages, and it is estimated that it is ridiculous to hear this request. The result can be imagined, Zhu Yuanzhang refused. The young king of Goryeo, Fang Gang, decided to conquer Liaodong.
Twenty-one years after Hongwu, the young King of Goryeo sent an army of 40,000 men to set out, and the general of the army was Li Chenggui. Forty thousand people to attack the Ming Dynasty army that had just defeated the 200,000 yuan army was tantamount to hitting a stone with a pebble. Li Chenggui carefully calculated an account, the army of 40,000 people, the Ming army could not defeat, but it was more than enough to clean up the young King of Goryeo. So he simply rebelled, deposed the king of Goryeo, and became king himself—this is the famous Lee dynasty.
In order to win the support of the Ming Dynasty, Li Chenggui immediately sent envoys to Zhu Yuanzhang as subjects and established a new dynasty, Joseon. And the name North Korea was determined by Zhu Yuanzhang.
In Vietnam I reviewed the story of Zhu Di, and in Korea I read the history of Zhu Yuanzhang. Travel is also an opportunity to learn history.
