Who is Huang Chujiu? He was a big man of the year: a pioneer of China's Western pharmaceutical industry and a pioneer of China's entertainment industry. Absolutely heavyweight. It is a very glorious thing that such a figure can make a sacrifice.
However, this is nothing. After He Fengyu's death, the funerals were like the Huang clan. What is even more mournful is that even Li Yuanhong, the president of the Republic of China, has a tribute to him.
So, what kind of person is He Fengyu, who can surprise the president?

He Fengyu (1874-1923), Yizuo Fengyu, Ziyuan Zhang, a native of Nanmen, Pingyin County. He Zonglian's nephew and brother of Army General He Fenglin.
In the 29th year of Guangxu (1903), he graduated from the Japanese Army Non-Commissioned Officer School. After returning to China, he successively served as the commander of the shi, the sentry, the chief of the guard, the pipe belt of the second battalion of the left wing of the newly built army, the general belt, and the general office of the law enforcement department.
He Fengyu has a nickname, called He Erhu. Tall and heroic, hot-tempered, and capable. During his tenure as the general office of the Law Enforcement Department, he was transferred to Haizhou Zhizhou for the execution of an officer who had aroused public indignation. Later, He Fengyu was promoted to the rank of major general in the Army's Eighth Town, Jiangbei Mixed Union.

In 1917, he was appointed lieutenant general commander of the Training Command of the New Army in Shandong. In 1920, he was appointed brigade commander of the 6th Mixed Brigade in Shandong and a guard of Yanzhou Town. In 1923, he was dismissed from his post because of the "Lincheng carjacking case" that shocked China and foreign countries in the jurisdiction. So he went to Shanghai to help his brother He Fenglin take care of military affairs. He died in Shanghai in 1924. After his death, Duan Qirui's government posthumously awarded He Fengyu the title of general of the army.
The reason why the Duan government posthumously awarded General He Fengyu to the army was mainly because of he's exploits in suppressing bandits in Shandong.
"Bandits" refer to the "Five-Way Alliance of the Shandong Jianguo Autonomous Army" headed by Sun Meizhu and Sun Meiyao' brothers.
Brother Sun Meizhu and Sun Meiyao, a native of Baizhuang Village, Shanting District, Zaozhuang City. Sun Meizhu was a talented person at the end of the Qing Dynasty and a well-known intellectual in the local area. Because they were often blackmailed and harassed by bandits nearby, the brothers discussed that instead of being bullied by bandits, it was better to pull up arms and go it alone.
In 1918, they rose up and built a village to embrace the calves. The uncle of the clan, Sun Guizhi, was the lord of the big village, and Sun Meizhu was the lord of the second village, and they played the slogan of "resisting the government and robbing the rich to help the poor", which won the support of the local people, and the team soon grew to five or six thousand people. In 1920, the "Shandong Jianguo Autonomous Army Five-Way Coalition Army" was established, with Sun Meizhu as the commander-in-chief.
In the eyes of the authorities, sun's team is a gang of bandits who are running rampant, killing families and robbing houses, and doing no evil, which has brought great hidden dangers to Shandong, especially along the Beijing-Shanghai railway, and will be eliminated quickly.
Therefore, they sent He Fengyu, who was heroic and capable, to serve as the brigade commander of the Sixth Mixed Brigade in Shandong and the guard of Yanzhou Town to carry out all-out efforts to suppress the bandits.
As the military and political leader of Yanzhou, He Fengyu regarded the suppression of bandits as a top priority. Coupled with his proficiency in the military, He Fengyu beat the Sun brothers with a brigade of people. On July 15, 1922, during a battle in Xiji, Sun Meizhu was killed.
After Sun Meizhu's death, Sun Meiyao was elected commander. He Fengyu was transferred out of Yanzhou. Without her nemesis, Sun Meiyao was very happy and went on a rampage again. Unexpectedly, the good times did not last long, and He Fengyu soon returned. In the matter of suppressing bandits, He Fengyu is familiar with it and is at ease. Under the strong blow of He Fengyu, Sun Meiyao fell into a desperate situation. In order to get out of the predicament, Sun Meiyao took the risk and did the "first major case of the Republic of China" - carjacking in Lincheng.
On May 6, 1923, the Beijing-Shanghai Express (known as the Express, its actual speed was only one mile per hour) was driving between the Shagou Stations in Lincheng, Shandong Province, and was hijacked by more than a thousand people led by Sun Meiyao.
In addition to the 200 Chinese passengers, there were more than 30 foreign male and female passengers from the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Mexico and Romania. Sun Meiyao went on a rampage to search for the luggage and belongings of the robbery passengers. British passenger Rothman tried to resist and was immediately shot dead by bandits. Then, more than 200 people, including foreign tourists, returned to their old nests to hold their calves.
After 32 days of negotiations, the incident was resolved peacefully, Sun Bu accepted the reorganization, and Sun Meiyao served as the brigade commander of the new brigade in Shandong, stationed in the Zaozhuang area. On December 19 of that year, Zheng Shiqi, the new governor of Shandong, instructed Zhang Peirong, the town guard of Yanzhou, to set up a "Hongmen Banquet" in the zaozhuang Zhongxing Coal Mining Company building, booby-trapping Sun Meiyao, and the new brigade was disbanded.
This case is known in history as the "Lincheng carjacking case" or "the first case of the Republic of China". Because the handling of this case has little to do with He Fengyu, it will not be described in detail. During the "rebellion" of the Sun clan, the only person who could make the Sun brothers feel frightened was He Fengyu.
The author was fortunate to get a soft leather copy, named: "Pingyin He Gongyuan Zhang (He Fengyu)" Rong Lamentation, the end of which is Shen Mingchang's tribute. This book records the glory of He Fengyu given to He Fengyu by some of the most famous figures in China at that time, as well as the praises, sacrifices, recitations, elegies, and poems written by others after his death.
