Before the state-funded "Tongzu Highway" project was launched, the relatively remote group of the fifth group and the sixth group of Guxiao Village in Minle Town, Huayuan County, did not have a tong group road, only a Tianmo trail leading to the main road of the village, and the children of the fifth group and the sixth group of villagers went to school and the villagers' production and life travel was extremely inconvenient.
The communists Wu Laoxue and Shi Suyu, both retired teachers of the Minle Town Center Primary School, returned to their hometown of GuXiao Village after retirement to settle in the fifth group, including Rao Sun. Seeing that it was extremely inconvenient for the children of the villagers to go to school and the villagers to travel in production and life, he decided to build a group road connecting the main road of the village on his own. The two teachers called the fifth group and the sixth group of villagers to discuss, and the villagers agreed.
It is indeed difficult to build a thorough road on its own. The first thing you encounter is land acquisition. Teachers Wu Laoxue and Shi Suyu first took the lead in donating about 1.2 acres of their own vegetable fields and fish ponds free of charge. Teacher Wu Laoxue also visited more than 20 villagers, and received strong support from these villagers, and the corner land of 23 villagers such as Shi Shuwen, Shi Laoguo, Shi Xingyao, and Wu Shuhua was also very happy to donate free of charge.
The route planning and measurement are good, and the road construction project is short of funds. Teacher Wu Shi also convened the villagers to discuss, the two teachers took the lead in donating money, and 8 villagers, including Wu Jiazhi, Wu Jiahe, and others, also donated enthusiastically. The villagers, who did not donate money, agreed to work.
On August 15, 2014, ground was broken on the Tongzu Highway. More than 50 villagers in the fifth group and the sixth group actively participated in road construction, with a total of nearly 600 working days of volunteer work. That month, the rough road was built. The second group of villagers in the village is stone forest, and the third group of villagers Shi Fajin has excavators and other construction machinery, charges low prices, and also comes to the construction site to support.
After the rough road was built, Teacher Wu Laoxue went to the village, town, and county to ask for help, and received support from leaders at all levels. On December 25 and 26, 2017, the prefectural transportation bureau sent a construction team to harden the road. Teacher Wu Shi also set up a family banquet at his own expense to thank the engineering team.
At this point, a 500-meter-long, 3-meter-wide highway with a small parking lot was opened to traffic. The children of the villagers happily walked the main road to and from school, the villagers' means of production and living were transported home by road, and agricultural and sideline products were transported by road to the market for trade. It has stepped up and accelerated the pace of villagers getting rid of poverty and becoming well-off. Teacher Shi Suyu was awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Communist Party Member" by the Party Branch of Guxiao Village in 2017.
It's a path to school and a way to get rich.
Teachers Wu Laoxue and Shi Suyu also volunteered to undertake the task of protecting the road, planting trees and flowers on both sides of the Tongzu Highway to beautify the road. Clean up dead branches and leaves, cow dung and sheep dung, cut down obstacles, and clean drainage ditches. Ensure that the roads are clean, bright and unobstructed.
The most beautiful is the sunset red. Wu Laoxue and Shi Suyu said that they will also contribute residual heat in "rural revitalization"!
